Sometimes Form is more important than Functionโฆand sometimes we find features in a vehicle that are not that useful to us. One of those features happens to be the rear wiper assembly. We felt this way and many in the community have informed us of this as well.
With that, we now have Rear Wiper Delete Kits for the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Generation Mazda 3 hatchbacks.
If you happen to live in one of the fortunate states that donโt get a lot of rain or find yourself not using your rear wiper very often, this is the kit for you. The CorkSport Rear Wiper Delete Kit completely removes the wiper arm and the motor assembly. This shaves weight (about 2 pounds) from your car and gets rid of the unsightly rear wiper arm.
The delete โplugโ in the kit is manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with a black anodized coating then laser engraved with a sleek CS logo. While this is a subtle mod for your Mazda, we are always shocked at how much better the rear end looks afterwards.

Style: Weโll say this again, Mazda did a pretty good job on the higher trim level wheels, but if you have a lower trim level with the vinyl/plastic wheel it just looks MEH. You know what we mean. Fitment: This one is a BIG DEAL for two reasons.

When a part fits correctly it installs easily. We donโt want you to fight with the install or have to come up with some disconnecting hub or whatnot like other โracingโ wheels. This is a 100% new casting that retains all the OEM connections and fitment.

While we do use true racing steering wheels with the quick disconnect hubs; these are only on our dedicated track cars with tons of other safety equipment. If you have a heated steering wheel from the factory you will lose that feature. We investigated adding this feature (and we still can if there is enough demand), but damn it is really expensive. Let us know in the comments and drop us some info in this link if you really want a heated option. I WANT A HEATED STEERING WHEEL
Lastly, we want to mention this; this is can be a tuff performance modification to justify trust me, but once you lay your hands on the wheel and take your first apex you will be sold and wished your Mazda came with it from the factory. Itโs such a visceral feeling that itโs hard to explain.

The Mazda 3 Engine Cover Fits Like OEM
Each CorkSport engine cover is designed to be a direct replacement for your OEM engine cover. We used an OEM cover when creating the design so you can be sure it will fit and look just like OEM. All OEM mounting locations were replicated and then securely bonded to the carbon. The covers sit right where theyโre supposed to and donโt cause any vibrations or rattles!
Add some flair to your engine bay
We finished off the CorkSport CF engine cover with a custom billet aluminum โCSโ logo badge. It offers a nice finishing touch that replicates the Mazda badge on the OEM cover. To give it your personal touch, four different anodize colors are available: blue, red, black, and silver. The CorkSport Strut Bar connects the front strut towers together to improve chassis stiffness. By connecting the left and right strut towers together, flex in the strut towers themselves is reduced during hard cornering.
Better driver feedback
This helps the suspension better do its job. This is most easily noticed through better driver feedback, so itโs easier for a driver to know what the car is doing when in a corner. There is also added stability, especially at a higher speed. Both of these aspects combine to help with driver confidence so you can attack your favorite backroad.
In order to offer the biggest handling improvement, we chose the best balance of strength and weight. The center bar section is made out of 2024-T4 aluminum so we get plenty of strength but keep the weight down. The two end brackets are made from laser-cut carbon steel that is precision welded together for the utmost in strength to give a solid base for the lightweight center section.
You canโt have all functions with no form though! To give a classy visual boost to your engine bay, the center aluminum section is fully polished and finished off with a CorkSport name badge for a clean look. The end brackets are powder coated black for long-lasting corrosion resistance and a clean look that will match just about any engine bay.
To provide the best experience for you all we include full-color installation instructions and all the hardware needed for installation. The center section of the brace is attached to the end brackets with chrome-plated hardware for long lasting good looks and strength.

Also included are new strut mounting nuts to ensure good thread engagement and a final shiny touch. This means a typically install only takes 15-30 minutes with minimal tools required!

4 years ago, we released the 60.5mm Exhaust kit for the 3rd Gen Mazda 3 (both in axle back and full cat back flavors). Itโs certainly been a hit, but there have been a few of you longing for more noise. Today we are proud to announce the 80mm variant of our cat back exhaust for the 2014-2018 Mazda 3 Hatchback and Sedan! At this time, just the hatchback version is available, but we will have the Sedan version ready in just a few short months.
The Dirty Details
Now I know what youโre thinking, an 80mm exhaust for Mazda 3 seems excessively large for a naturally aspirated car making less than 200whp. But, hear me out because I think youโll like whatโs coming.
80mm piping allows for some unique & louder tones its smaller little brother canโt offer, but it wasnโt as easy as just using the old design and making the pipes larger. We had to do quite a bit of resonator experimentation and NVH analysis to get to the finished result with as little drone as possible. Iโll be upfront with you guys though, this is loud. Itโs a good loud with tons of fun noises, but if youโre looking for something subtler, then our 60.5mm cat back or axle back may be a better fit. We do a good job of capturing the audio for you though so you have a good understanding of what youโre getting. Be sure to check out the product video to hear it.
The Beauty of the Design
For those wanting this more aggressive exhaust note, sound isnโt the only bonus. We thought about the appearance, and how we could take advantage of this time to tinker with the design. The 80mm does a nice job of not only filling the exhaust tunnel under the car, but the axle back portion is a bit more prominent when you catch a glance.
On the Hatchbacks, the exhaust tips got a nice size increase up to 100mm and they are slant cut to help follow the profile of the bumper. Sedans have also been upsized to 100mm tips, which were lowered slightly to ensure your bumper doesnโt melt with the large piping. This has the added bonus of making the tips a little more visible from the rear and side of the car. In both cases, the way the upsized exhaust accents the rear of the car provides an aftermarket look, thatโs classy and somehow the way it always should have been from the factory.
CorkSport Quality
As with every CorkSport exhaust, this new 80mm Mazda 3 Cat Back Exhaust variant is made from fully polished T-304 stainless steel for long-lasting corrosion resistance. All flanges, hangers, and resonators are precision TIG welded in place while all of the piping is made with smooth mandrel bends. Each resonator uses a direct flow-thru design to keep the drone down and the volume up without sacrificing power.
Power Levels
Speaking of power, check out the dyno graph below. The upsize to 80mm showed similar power gains as the 60.5mm variant, so the extra size isnโt really needed at similar to stock power levels (aside from the great noise of course!). The only change in parts or tune between the two graphs was the exhaust. OEM exhaust (red) vs. CorkSport Mazda 3 80mm Exhaust (green).
We also believe itโs also very important to be prepared. Future proofing your car for mods down the road is always a great idea, and youโve probably heard that we have a turbo kit (yes itโs still happening!) and race header in the works. More on those projects later, but Iโll let you put 2 & 2 togetherโฆ
