Product Release! CorkSport 2010-2011 Mazda 3 LED Bumper DRL Set

Ever wish your Mazda 3 came with daytime running lights? CorkSport has heard requests for a daytime running light solution many times. In response to this, we have come out with the all new CorkSport 2010-2011 Mazda 3 LED Bumper DRL Set.

Designed to enhance the light output and look of your Mazda 3, the CorkSport Daytime Running Light LED Bumper Kit has been developed to fit seamlessly into your grille opening without any permanent modifications to your bumper.

A high quality lighting upgrade, the light housing is made from durable UV resistant clear plastic and includes five LED bulbs. The light output has been made to match CorkSport’s other light kits in the 6000k color range, very white with a just a hint of blue.

CorkSport: New Shirts and More for You!

I know many of you have been anticipating the arrival of a new CorkSport t-shirt to add to your collection. Well wait no longer! CorkSport is happy to introduce our newest CS shirt, the CorkSport “Established in 1998” shirt! Designed by our customer Ethan (thank you Ethan!), the shirt features a CS founders logo on the front and CorkSport across the back.

Of course this isn’t the only CorkSport brand item we carry in our merchandise catalog. As many of you know, we have a couple other limited run shirts and our popular CS hats that we released at the request of our customers several months ago.

Today, we have added a limited edition white and pink hat for the Mazda enthusiast ladies out there that want to show their CS spirit! Of course, no judgement here, this hat is available to anyone who likes white and pink and ladies, we have many other color hats that may interest you as well!

These are just a few of the CorkSport brand items that we currently have available in our catalog and from time-to-time we do limited runs of other highly requested items.

Product Release! CorkSport Mazda 2 Cold Air Duct

CorkSport is happy to announce the release of the 2011+ Mazda 2 Cold Air Duct for CorkSport SRI! Now you can get the benefits of a ram air intake system without dropping a heafty chunk of change to purchase the set-up!

By coupling your CorkSport Short Ram Intake with the CorkSport Cold Air Duct, you will limit the exposure of hot underhood air into your short ram intake and gain additional exposure to cool outside air using our unique design that pulls air from the front of the core support, resulting in reduced heat soak and more power gained from your short ram intake.

During testing CorkSport saw an average 10 degree drop in temperature at the intake compared to running the intake without the air duct installed and saw a 12 degree drop at idle for 5 min.

The CorkSport Mazda 2 Cold Air Duct is made from durable FRP construction that is ready to be painted, lightweight and an extremely strong, robust material. Product Release! CorkSport Mazdaspeed 6 Front Sway Bar

CorkSport is pleased to announce the release of yet another Mazdaspeed 6 product, the CorkSport Mazdaspeed 6 Front Sway Bar!

The newly released Mazdaspeed 6 Front Sway Bar will improve handling by minimizing body roll during cornering and reducing understeer by strengthening the lower suspension connection across the front with a larger diameter bar that has been engineered to match the stiffness of the CorkSport Rear Sway Bar.

The Mazdaspeed 6 Front Sway Bar is made from CNC machined 28.5mm 4130 steel and provides 70% more stiffness than stock front sway bar. The powder coated black finish offers long lasting durability and performance. The included polyurethane mounting bushings eliminate the sloppy handling caused by the stock rubber bushings and offer long life and resistance to common contaminants that would destroy rubber bushings.

“The Mazdaspeed 6 can benefit greatly from the addition of a front sway bar because of the tendency the vehicle has to understeer,” said CorkSport Engineer, Brydon Foster, “We engineered our Mazdaspeed 6 Front Sway Bar with our Rear Sway Bar in mind to promote neutral handling.”

The CorkSport Mazdaspeed 6 Front Sway Bar can be purchased as a set with the CorkSport Mazdaspeed 6 Rear Sway bar for $358 or can be purchased as a standalone product to compliment your current Mazdaspeed 6 suspension set-up for $199.

Product Release! CorkSport Mazda CX-7 Airbox

We know CX-7 owners do not get a lot of attention from Mazda aftermarket performance companies and can often times be overlooked when it comes to performance parts that would otherwise be considered a standard offering for DISI engine Mazda vehicles.

With that said, CorkSport is happy to provide a little love for the CX-7 family with the release of the all new CorkSport Mazda CX-7 Air Box.

Designed specifically for the Mazda CX7, the CorkSport CX-7 Air Box for CorkSport SRI provides protection from the hot underhood air of the engine bay while adding additional access to ambient air temperatures, resulting in greatly reduced temperatures in and around your SRI for less heat soak and more power.

The CorkSport Mazda CX7 Cold Air Box for CorkSport SRI connects to the air induction scoop and can be further modified with an additional opening that can be connected to piping leading to the fenderwell.

The CX-7 Air Box is easy to install allowing customers to quickly upgrade their SRI and get the added advantage that comes with a CAI without the pressure drops inherent to longer intake piping.
