Dramatically reduce intake restrictions and get an impressive improvement in power throughout the entire engines RPM range with the CorkSport Mazdaspeed 3 Stage III Power Series Cold Air Intake System.

Designed as an upgrade kit for your stage I or stage II CorkSport Short Ram Intake, the high-flow design of the CorkSport Mazdaspeed 3 Cold Air Intake will enable your engine to take in larger volumes of cold air routed from the fender liner instead of the hot engine bay. During initial testing the CorkSport Stage III Cold Air Intake for the Mazdaspeed 3 saw a 10-12% increase in power and torque.

The CorkSport Advantage:

  • Interchangeable with the CorkSport Stage I or Stage II Power Series Short Ram Intake*: Run your short ram intake during the winter and your cold air intake during the summer months for optimal performance gains
  • Custom reinforced silicone connector constructed with multi-layer nylon braid to provide more strength and power and a smooth internal transition for less turbulence and optimal flow
  • Stainless steel T-bolt clamps: Available in stealth black or polished stainless and ensure an airtight seal which prevents unmetered airflow
  • Mandrel bent aluminum piping: Replace your short ram intake with cold air intake piping that routes air from the fender liner instead of the hot engine bay.
  • Corksport Service and Support: Receive a two year warranty, full color installation instructions, all of the needed installation hardware, and knowledgeable telephone installation support

  • *If you are running the CorkSport Oil Catch Can can, you will need to find an alternate location to place the catch can before the cold air intake can be successfully installed.

Is this carb legal?

CorkSport Reply:Our Stage II intake is the only CARB approved intake we have available.
will this work with a CS FMIC

CorkSport Reply:It will not. Stage II only.

will this fit if my turbo inlet pipe is Cobb TIP? i really want to get a cold air for the summer.

CorkSport Reply:If the COBB locates the intake in the stock location then it will fit just fine.

I have the Stage II SRI installed, would the stage III require tune?

CorkSport Reply:A tune would not be necessary.
Just installed on my 2013 MS3 in combo with the TIP. Love it. Spools much faster! Look and construction were top notch. It breathes louder than expected but sounds great. I had a hard time getting the filter to stay on. When tightening the hose clamp be sure to push clamp away from the filter and up towards the pipe, otherwise the clamp will pop the filter off before it fully tightens.

Also, there are two threaded holes in the frame rail. You want to use the one closer to the wheel well and furthest from the front of the car. The hole in the frame rail had a factory screw in it (the one closer to the wheel well) and the other one didn't. I just swapped these in order to make it work. Just an FYI.
Great Product and very easy install Looks very nice under the hood. I went from The stage II and Upgraded with the Stage III cold air pipe Very Satisfied As I always am with CorkSport products

@ customer or CS... Im wondering, in the pictures, what are the two lines for teed into the recirc valve?

CorkSport Reply: We were doing some testing so we had pressure sensors spliced into the manifold pressure.
