If you’re ready to take your Mazdapeed 3 to the next level and have some big power potential, look no further than the CorkSport 4-Inch Intake. Sooner or later when shooting for very high power levels you will max out MAF sensor flow and need a larger intake to feed your engine all the air it wants. The CorkSport 4” Intake combines the ease of use of our smaller intakes with enough flow to support over 900whp. Read on for full details and more pictures.#ZoomZoom!

In order to make the CorkSport 4” Intake the best it could be, we went back to the drawing board to rethink the way we design our intake system. The main change is to the MAF housing connection; instead of a silicone coupler to attach the MAF housing, the billet MAF housing is TIG welded directly to the turbo inlet pipe. This gave us a ton of freedom to optimize fitment and filter size. You end up with a four-inch intake that takes up less room than some 3.5” intakes while retaining all OEM mounting points and OEM BPV, PCV, and boost vent ports. It even fits with our 51R battery box!
The main reason behind a 4” intake is the bonus power potential it offers. By moving up in intake size, you increase the maximum amount of air your car can ingest. With a tune, you also increase the amount of air the MAF sensor can read before it maxes out its voltage operating range. While typically not offering a power bump on lower horsepower cars, Mazdaspeed3s already with big power can see an increase in power, just by reducing the airflow restriction before the turbo. This increases efficiency & increases the operating range of the MAF sensor to support over 900whp.
The CorkSport 4” Intake System reduces flow restrictions by using a very large air filter measuring 7 inch in length and 4.5 inches at the MAF inlet. Filter size is something most large intake systems ignore, which can ruin some of the benefits of going to a large intake. After all, the pipe size does no good if the filter flows poorly and/or is too small. We chose aFe’s Pro Dry S material for fantastic filtration and flow without the risk of an oiled filter dirtying the MAF sensor. Check out the image, you can see how much bigger this is than our normal filters!
While the design may be a bit different from our typical intakes, the CS 4” intake still retains a billet aluminum MAF sensor housing. When combined with the pre-installed air straighteners, you get stable and accurate airflow readings. This makes it easier to tune and ensures your car will consistently read the actual amount of airflow entering your engine.
Each Mazdaspeed 3 CorkSport 4” Intake System is made from mandrel bent 4” 6061 aluminum tubing. This ensures good strength and smooth airflow into your turbo. The billet MAF housing and all ports are TIG welded in place for utmost strength and reliability. The main intake pipe is finished off in wrinkled black powder coat for a clean look that will last and match any engine bay. Also included is your choice of turbo inlet coupler made from 4-ply reinforced silicone. We offer couplers to fit 4.0”, 3.5”, and OEM-sized compressor housings. Finally, stainless steel T-bolt clamps are included to prevent vacuum leaks!

Hello im stock now , this better if i choose 3 inch intakes or the 4inch modification includes ?
If you still have the stock K04, a 4in intake is overkill. Get the Stage II Power Series version.
What is the replacement filter part number so I could purchase a new one.
Contact us via phone or email to order a replacement filter.
Will this work with a top mount manifold set up?
Yes, it will fit.
Is this CARB legal?
The 4 inch intake is not CARB legal, sorry.
Hi... do you guys sell the 4inch to OEM silicone itself?? Cheers Deo
This is the elbow from that system, is it what you are looking for: https://corksport.com/corksport-mazdaspeed-power-series-intake-elbow.html
If i choose the stock turbo coupler but later i switch to a bigger turbo. Can i order the bigger coupler later and if so how? Thank youu
Yes you can
Can I use this with my cst5 for my 2006 speed 6? Are there any options for the cst5?
Fitment on the Speed 6 isn't the best due to the factory wiring harness routing. You will be needing to make modifications, and possibly not run the mounting bracket. That being said it does work fine on the CST5. The 3.5" Power series is also a good option.
Does this fit with the cs ecu relocation box? or just the 51r?
It should work with both. The 51r gives the most space of course.
Is this too much intake for CST4?
It will work just fine. If you ever think you will go bigger then its not a problem to run it on the 4 for now.
