Dramatically reduce intake restrictions and get an impressive improvement in power throughout the entire engines RPM range with the CorkSport Mazdaspeed 3 Stage III Power Series Cold Air Intake System.
Developed to replace your factory air filter, airbox, and optional turbo inlet pipe, the high-flow design of the CorkSport Mazdaspeed 3 Cold Air Intake will enable your engine to take in larger volumes of cold air for better acceleration and is easily interchangable with the CorkSport Stage I or Stage II Short Ram Intake. During initial testing the CorkSport Stage III Cold Air Intake for the Mazdaspeed 3 saw a 10-12% increase in power and torque.

Precision Machined MAF Housing: Made from one piece of billet aluminum with included air straightener to prevent air leaks and inaccurate readings that can cause check-engine lights. The MAF sensor is secured to the housing using T304 stainless fasteners for a rock solid connection
Durable Dry Flow Air Filter: Reusable and water resistant, this unique non-woven filter media does not require oil to filter and trap dirt and actually sheds dirt under engine vibration unlike cotton-gauze which holds contaminates until you clean the filter
Custom reinforced silicone connector constructed with multi-layer nylon braid to provide more strength and power and a smooth internal transition for less turbulence and optimal flow
Stainless steel T-bolt clamps: Available in stealth black or polished stainless and ensure an airtight seal which prevents unmetered airflow
Mandrel bent aluminum piping: Replaces the restrictive factory intake with mandrel bent aluminum piping routed to the fender liner and away from the hot engine bay.
Optional Replacement Turbo Inlet Pipe: Replaces the stock turbo inlet pipe with a mandrel bent aluminum TIP for added power, engine responsiveness and a 14% improvement in airflow

I do have to say that I absolutely love this intake. It was a breeze to put in, I did make a mistake and broke one of the plastic pieces that come off the boost solenoid but that was my fault. The instructions were very clear and helpful. I would recommend this intake to anyone in the market for one. Thanks Corksport!!

this part is amazing. I live in AZ and of course a CAI is one of the most useful upgrades to add to your vehicle out here. The pieces are well made and quality is phenomenal. Performance is instantly noticeable. I got the full system including the upgraded turbo inlet pipe and it instantly takes away the turbo spool lag. Currently running a Stage 1+ Safe mode map from my Accessport until i swap my internals which is next. Must buy part.
Only thing that i would recommend is updating the instructions. The instructions say for a 2007 and up. I have a 2013, so of course the Gen2 has a different engine bay and some of the instructions pics do not match up 100% so for those who know nothing about the car, it may be confusing. Easy to figure out, but if you're not careful you can miss something. I also recommend having the silicone elbow, silicone pieces, clamps, and inlet pipe all attached at once when you go to install the pipe or it gets tough to put everything in at once. At the right angle, they can go right in no problem. Also be careful on disconnecting the boost solenoid tubing hose. The plastic piece on the stock inlet pipe is longer than you think. I snapped mine and about 1/2 inch was left in the hose. I had to trim the hose to get it out which left me too short of hose to connect from the boost control to the CS inlet pipe needle. Its $5 at O'Reilly's. Just a 4mm windshield wiper hose worked just fine. Take a knife/blade and slice the factory hosing on the boost control solenoid and then replace it with the new hose. I have 5 extra feet still left over. Other than that, great product. excellent customer service! Love every product you guys have! Cant wait for the next one

I will say that I am very much a novice when it comes to mods and have done nothing to my '13 speed except the CAI/TIP. It is really like driving a whole new car! Throttle response is there and my god is the sound beautiful! I drive a lot, about 25k miles/yr and am on my 2nd speed3. Truly a must buy! I have had these mods for about year and a half w no issues. no cels. no nothing. MPGs in my case have gone up by 1-2. The only unfortunate part is that I live in Florida. In the hottest months I cannot run CAI because it is also our rainy season, street flooding and such.. not worth the risk. It is super easy to remove the long intake and run as SRI (maybe 5 minutes on or off). Thanks Corksport!

Does Corksport make or carry pre air filters at all to prevent water absorption like a hydro shield?

Just a question since the product seems very nice and the reviews have been excellent so far. I don't have any mods on my car. Can I install the CAI without problems? Just to make sure.

What differentiates a stage I, II, or III intake? How is one better then the other two?
CorkSport Reply: Stage I is a short ram intake. Stage II is a short ram intake with the turbo inlet pipe. Stage III is the short ram intake with the cold air pipe and the option of getting the turbo inlet pipe.

Will this stage 3 CAI fit with a front mounted intercooler? or would a stage 2 sri work better with a front mounted intercoolel?
CorkSport Reply:The Stage III will not work with the FMIC, the piping conflicts with the CAI. The stage II is the best bet.

Bought this after reading everywhere that a CAI or short ram was the way to go for a first mod... Wow did this thing deliver, instantly felt my car hit the zoom zoom mark quicker and more powerfully than before, great product
install was a breeze if you have even 2 minutes of experience with tools and reading instructions
