The Mazdaspeed 3 Power Series 3.5" Intake System is exactly what you have been searching for. Get ahead of other Mazdaspeeds on the road with an exceptional increase in horsepower and acceleration by way of more air flow. Additional benefits include:
Are you ready to take your baby to the next level?
The Power Series 3.5" system is a true 3.5" inner diameter for maximum flow to get the most out of you performance mods.
A high performance dry-flow filter with 4" opening to let your engine breathe without worry.
The turbo inlet pipe is constructed of CNC mandrel bent aluminum pipe polished to a mirror finish.
You will need between 60 and 90 minutes to install the 3.5" intake system for 2010-2013 Mazdaspeed3. Follow our detailed installation instructions, designed just for you.
** MAF recalibration with COBB Tuning Accessport is required for product installation.**
I have seen this question asked before with different answers. In the MS6 Power Series II Iin FAQ it says the 3.5” intake that fits MS6 is this one. In this FAQ they send MS6 owners to the Power Series II. Which is correct?
This will fit the MS6 100%
How much horsepower is this cold air system rated for? Is it rated for all CST turbos or BNR turbos?
We have seen the 3.5 inch intake make 550-600 whp without a problem.
Im tuned for a JBR 3.5-inch intake. Will I need to retune if I buy and install the Corksport 3.5-inch intake?
You will probably need to get the MAF calibrated if you switched over.
Will the Corksport 51R battery relocation kit provide the necessary space for this instake to fit?
What is the difference between (Axl-6-118-13110) Stage II Short Ram and (AXL-6-289-83110) Power Series 3.5" Intake. I own a Mazdaspeed6 and was looking into getting one of these but was not sure on the differences between them and which one would be a better choice for my speed6
The short ram intake is just the intake with silicone, MAF body, and filter. The Power Series intake replaces the factory turbo inlet pipe as well.
Dose this come with the coupling to fit stock turbo ?
Yes it does
can this fit 2006 mps atenza
This is the MPS 6 version: https://corksport.com/corksport-stage-ii-power-series-short-ram-intake-for-mazdaspeed-6.html
Will the 3.5 inch intake fit directly on a CST5 turbo or will I need to get an inlet for the turbo and then the intake?
The intake will come with a coupler that allows it to fit on the turbo
What is a tune required? You normally don't need one, stage 2 doesn't require one
Because the Stage II intake along with the Stage I intake utilize a stock sized MAF housing. So the MAF scalings in the ECU don't need to be altered.
Would this work with a stock 2010 speed3
You will Need to have a tune for it Via the Accessport.
Will this fit an 07 Speed3 with the current battery box kit?
You will need to move the ECU from the stock location to pull off the installation.
Would this intake be able to fit a 3076r?
It depends on the inlet size. Our intake include the 4 inch silicone connector which is common on most 3076r turbos.
Will a Cobb filter fit this intake? Cobb filter inside diameter where filter connects is 4.5?
It will not.
I’m currently running the stage ll intake. If I were to get this intake and do the maf calibration. Would I need to get it tuned or would I be able to drive the car around with the intake installed. I’m also customed tuned right now.
If you calibrated the MAF you could run it. You get more power if you get a tune though.
Do you have any plans for another big diameter intake that will fit with you FMIC?
No current plans for anything bigger than a 3.5" at the moment
I see that it does not fit with the CS Battery Box, which version of the battery box is this talking about as I know there have been multiple. I am currently using the one with the solid base and removable top, Gen 1 I believe.
Can the Stage III CAI kit be used with this intake?
That intake is not compatible with our 3.5".
I have an MS6 does the 3.5" intake fit on my car?
Sure does!
Is the turbo inlet pipe the same one you sell with the stage II SRI? If so, for us that have the SRIs already, is it possible to purchase the 3.5 MAF, filter, and tubing separately?
This intake is completely different from the Stage II model and shares no components.
is this a good first mod if you have done nothing to your vehicle and it is all stock a Mazdaspeed 3 2010
We would recommend the Stage II intake here as a first mod instead: https://corksport.com/corksport-power-series-short-ram-intake-2010-mazdaspeed-3.html The 3.5" is a great mod but you would have to have an Accessport and Tune for the intake.
Will I see any benefit with this intake over the old SRI Stage II with a stock turbo or is this really just needed when upgrading to a larger turbo?
You will see benefits if you get a custom tune for it. The benefits on a stock turbo are not as significant as with an upgraded turbo.
Does the intake need any additional couplers to hook up to the gtx3071r?
We include a stock turbo size coupler, and a 4" coupler.
Does this fit the Corksport FMIC?
It does not fit currently.
does this new 3.5" intake require relocation of the ecu and or battery?
It can be used with the stock Battery box for 2010-2013 models, if you have an older model or a Mazdaspeed 6 then you have to move the ECU or modify the battery box.
