CHECK YOUR ENGINE STYLE FOR FITMENT

Mazda updated the 2025+ model year to include an EGR cooler. To accommodate this change, Mazda revised the engine wiring harness, valve cover vent hose, and factory intake hose. As a result, a new CS SRI silicone is required!

Not all 2025 and newer models incorporate this change, so you will need to inspect your specific vehicle to ensure you get the correct intake for your ride! Please see the images below, and don't hesitate to give us a call if you have questions or concerns.

The CorkSport Short Ram Intake is engineered to fit your Mazda CX-50's engine. We use a precision-machined billet MAF housing to ensure the perfect diameter at the MAF sensor location, guaranteeing smooth airflow and optimal engine performance. An improperly positioned MAF housing, or one with an inconsistent diameter, can trigger a check engine light. Our design eliminates this risk by providing a consistent and smooth flow over the sensor, even with Mazda's highly sensitive MAF sensor and factory ECU tuning.

Dryflow Filter:

The CorkSport Short Ram Intake is equipped with a dry flow air filter for a cleaner, more efficient engine performance. Designed to capture dirt, dust, and debris, the air filter is crafted from a woven mixed media, eliminating the need for oil. It's washable and reusable design ensures a long-lasting, durable improvement for your Mazda, keeping your engine breathing easy for miles to come.

Fit and Finish:

The CorkSport Short Ram Intake features a custom-designed silicone coupler that seamlessly connects the MAF housing and filter to the throttle body, with an appropriate port for the valve cover breather hose. Unlike the OEM ribbed rubber tubing, the CS SRI employs smooth interior silicone reinforced with four layers of nylon weave, ensuring long-lasting strength and optimal airflow.

The CorkSport intake also has stainless steel t-bolt clamps to guarantee a leak-free seal! We even include step-by-step color instructions for a quick DIY installation!

No tuning required but tuning may further improve performance gains.
The SRI works with engines equipped with the revised engine wiring harness and EGR cooler located on top of the intake manifold.
Not confirmed to work with 2.0L engine. Use at your own risk.
