Fit, Function, & Performance:

The CorkSport Short Ram Intake was specifically designed for the 2018+ Mazda 6 2.5T. The combination of a precision machined MAF housing, laminar flow silicone elbow, high flow dry-element air filter, and formed anodized mounting bracket.

Performance & Sound:

The factory airbox in the Mazda 6 not only restricts airflow, but also the many turbo induction noises. As an added bonus, the audible turbo and bypass valve sounds are greatly improved and increased with the CorkSport Short Ram Intake. Bolt-On Power Gains:

The improved flow and efficiency gained from the CS Short Ram Intake contributes an additional 5-16whp and 7-23wtq. This is achieved with no tuning or triggering check engine lights.

Precision Machined:

CorkSport MAF housings are CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for precise dimensional tolerance. The MAF sensor monitors all airflow entering the engine, therefore MAF alignment and consistency of the MAF housing inner diameter is critical for proper air fuel ratios and ECU engine management.

Laminar Flow:

Turbulence and flow resistance is the #1 leading killer of performance from your Mazda. The CorkSport SRI replaces the turbulent ribbed rubber coupler with a 4-ply reinforced silicone coupler. This reduces turbulence within the airflow entering your Mazda’s engine, thus increasing efficiency and power.

Dry-Flow Filter:

The short ram intake is always my first mod I purchase when I get a new car. Installation is quick and easy with pictured instructions that guide you along the way. The intake brings the car to life with great sounds and also a little performance boost - see the website for dyno graph gains. It’s also a nice part to show off at car meets when the hood is open, with a few different colors to choose from so you can match the color of your car.

Absolutely love!!!! Took about 30 minutes to install. Simple tools, 10mm deep socket, small reg and phillips screwdriver, plyers, allen wrench set and some silicone spray. Just the sound alone from the turbo brings so much joy to driving. Worst part is, now I want more..

Installation was quick and easy. The installation manual was clear and thorough. The new turbo growl and blowdown puts a smile on my face every time! It's going to cost me in gas because I keep revving it up :-)

OMG this SRI sounds amazing! I've seen a review where someone said the sound of the intake in the YouTube videos are exaggerated. I'm here to set the record straight. ABSOLUTELY NOT. This SRI sounds very pronounced. It's definitely going to turn some heads. I'm going to add the full cat back exhaust very soon.

Very simple install, almost too easy. I say that because I planned on taking some time to do this this morning. A couple of hours, but it only took about 45 minutes going methodically slow. I finished and had to find some other project to work on. The sound is very cool. Be very careful when you're disconnecting or moving the MAF. They can be very pricey if you damage them. I highly recommend this upgrade for it's performance, ease of installation, and sound.

Easy enough install, my wife and I knocked it out in 1.5 hours. The sound alone is amazing. She is only just getting into car mods and this was an excellent intro. Makes the engine bay look so much better too. Love it
