2018 and up Mazda 6 Turbo Intake

Fit, Function, & Performance:

The CorkSport Short Ram Intake was specifically designed for the 2018+ Mazda 6 2.5T. The combination of a precision machined MAF housing, laminar flow silicone elbow, high flow dry-element air filter, and formed anodized mounting bracket.

2016 and up CX9 Turbo Intake

Performance & Sound:

The factory airbox in the Mazda 6 not only restricts airflow, but also the many turbo induction noises. As an added bonus, the audible turbo and bypass valve sounds are greatly improved and increased with the CorkSport Short Ram Intake. This will put a smile on your face whether you’re commuting to work or attacking a back road. We highly suggest you watch the product video above if you haven’t yet.

2018 and up CX5 Turbo Short Ram Intake System installed

Bolt-On Power Gains:

The improved flow and efficiency gained from the CS Short Ram Intake contributes an additional 5-16whp and 7-23wtq.  This is achieved with no tuning or triggering check engine lights.

Mazda 6 turbo MAF Housing

Precision Machined:

CorkSport MAF housings are CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for precise dimensional tolerance. The MAF sensor monitors all airflow entering the engine, therefore MAF alignment and consistency of the MAF housing inner diameter is critical for proper air fuel ratios and ECU engine management.

Laminar Flow:

Turbulence and flow resistance is the #1 leading killer of performance from your Mazda. The CorkSport SRI replaces the turbulent ribbed rubber coupler with a 4-ply reinforced silicone coupler. This reduces turbulence within the airflow entering your Mazda’s engine, thus increasing efficiency and power.

Easy enough install, my wife and I knocked it out in 1.5 hours. The sound alone is amazing. She is only just getting into car mods and this was an excellent intro. Makes the engine bay look so much better too. Love it

Not as noisy or loud as I thought it might be based on the warnings. I'm not technical, so I had some issues with the allen wrench sizes. Luckily, I had another car that could get around my CX-5 so I could go buy what I needed. Took me twice as long as estimated. Seems to be working. Tomorrows longer drive will isolate any issues.

I can definitely hear my turbo now. It’s pretty cool. Easy installation took me and a friend about 40 minutes to install. The instructions were detailed and easy to follow. This was my first performance mod and more to come. I highly recommend it you won’t be disappointed. My only advice is to look over the instructions to ensure you have everything you need.

The people who keep saying SRIs are useless have never used a Corksport one. This was the first thing I added to my car, and I was so happy I did. Like all Corksport intakes, the throttle response was dramatically improved but the noise is the best part. Add typical SRI noises to the turbo sounds of the Skyactiv 2.5t and you now have a car you will not want to listen to music in anymore. The best part is the intake is only loud when you get on it, so cruising with your family is quiet and calm, but driving through the backroads gives you vocal feedback as it snorts back at you. Highly recommend this as anyone's first mod.

Easily the best mod to start with if you plan on adding some sound and power to your 2.5T powered Mazda. LOVE the BOV noise after a quick jab of the throttle. The turbo whistle at part throttle is lovely. I have the cat back exhaust on my 6 as well and together they sound amazing. Great value for the money with this intake! Buy it.

Love it!!! First off yes it can be quite or very loud depending on how much throttle and rpm you give it. You can still hear it with the windows up. Great whistle when the turbo spools up and loud sound from the blow off valve. The top end power definitely got better as well. Quality is pretty good with a perfect fit. It took me 20 minutes to install. Great product for a great price. Next upgrade the boost tube

Very happy - easy install and a nice sound. But, we need a box for it (for legal reasons in Australia) - any timeline for that Corksport? The only drawback is that my local Mazda Service (Port Macquarie, Australia) has now flagged my 6 as having an "external waste gate fitted" which may affect my engine warranty if there are any issues. I have disputed this - the only mods I have made are from Corksport - rear sway bar, this intake, and the boost tube - definitely no waste gate! I had to Google exactly what it was and are they even available for that engine? I still need to sort this out with them - have to take my 6 back in so their head mechanic can point out this EWG that is apparently installed - annoying.
