Read The BlogProduct Release! CorkSport 2010+ Mazdaspeed 3 Axle Back Exhaust

New Options! You can choose the optional non-resonated rear version of our cat back to take the sound level up a notch. We made this option available due to customer feedback from those wanting a turbo back that captures the Mazdaspeed 3's flat exhaust note.

The CorkSport exhaust features mandrel bent 80mm piping, a straight through high flow resonator for a smooth flow, increased power, and faster spool up. Corrosion-resistant T304 polished Stainless Steel construction with 100mm stainless steel tips ensures long life; stainless steel resonator packing means no worrying about burning out and rattling. As with all of our CorkSport exhausts, the Turbo Back exhaust is precision TIG welded, making for a solid connection, cleaner look, and powerful presence.

Thoroughly tested, this exhaust has peak power gains on the dyno with increases up to 50 wheel horsepower over stock with the needed supporting parts (Max Flow Fuel Pump, Intake and Accessport.)

Product Advisory Note
  • For off-road & race use only
  • HPFP upgrade and tuning required for proper and safe operation.

Finally got around to getting the turbo-back installed. The DP is a pain to get in as you've probably read elsewhere or other reviews here. Purchased the resonated version for my '13 MS3.

Regarding the sound, it is noticeable when light accelerating however not overpowering at all. Nice deep throaty tone and don't have to kick up the radio any higher when I'm driving normally. Does however show up when at WOT though. When cruising, there is almost no difference in stock. Barely hear it which is nice being my daily driver. Also no drone which I can detect.

In the end I can easily say that this system is excellent. Has a great sound and noticed the increased HP with a much quicker spool in the turbo, still running the stock one. Would recommend this for those who want a top notch system and want to drive without making sacrifices to daily drivability. Of course if you want crazy loud then CS has you covered with the non-resonated version.
Purchased the non-resonated version, really happy with this system. Great sound, easy install, top-notch quality.
Just picked up the Speed and WOW! You want REFINED? Buy this exhaust system. Others have written the reviews that convinced me to save for this whole system, and I concur: This system is awesome! The word that keeps coming back to me is REFINED! No, this system is not cheap, but I, who have never bet a nickel, would bet you that this is the best tuned exhaust system made for the Gen2 MS 3! The deep and throaty sound is so amazing and it sounds to CLASSY. This is not your “coffee can” 4 cylinder exhaust that I hear so much in Arizona. It’s an appropriately loud sound on acceleration, but in 6th gear I can talk, hear the Bose system, and be aware of traffic.

This is one of the best mods I have done....and I have done quite a few since buying this wonderful car!
Easy five star, welds are perfect fitment takes a little work no fabricating though. Just letting you know the fifth nut on the turbo for the downpipe has to go first or you wont be able to get it on. The sound is amazing loud when you want it to be quiet when you don't "cops" (high-flow cat, resonated 80mm). Important note: DO NOT RUN COBB MAPS FOR CORKSPORT PARTS there will be considerably more predetonation knock for example I recorded 8.09 with cobb and only 1.52 with corksport which very well could have been a bump in the road.
The exhaust is breath taking, but I do suggest to get the resonated exhaust it's still loud but I bought the non resonated and it is really loud. And when I say loud it's excessive. I'll have my radio up 75% and can barely hear it over the exhaust. The videos online that you find dont give justice to how loud they actually are. Over all though the exhaust sounds amazing and the power gains are more then noticable and I am very happy with my purchase.

Be prepared when you purchase and install the the most lower forward nut that attaches the dp to the turbo is extremely difficult to put on, seems like it won't fit but it will this nut has to go on before all the others on the do.

2013 Speed3

I ordered the Turbo-back exhaust with high flow cat and resonated. I have had this for almost a year now, it sounds amazing. Cold starts are pretty loud. When it warms up the idle is quiet. Low RPMs can be quiet if you want them to be. Can be loud and have a great tone if you want it to. Sounds best at high RMPs and WOT. I got resonated for just that reason. I didn't want to be cruising the streets of my neighborhood with an obnoxious exhaust. Can be quiet and can be loud. The exhaust doesn't necessarily backfire, but if you cruise in 2nd or 3rd gear without acceleration makes cool gurgle sound.

DP install was kind of a pain. It does not come with a rubber for the DP, you have to buy a new one or reuse the old one. Other than that the CBE was very easy to install. I do recommend getting the urethane exhaust hangers.
Just installed the 2010-2013 Mazdaspeed 3 Cat Back Exhaust & Downpipe.

Just a few things:

The sound clip on the website or wherever else you might find, do not do these things justice. Yes, they sound good online, but when I first fired this thing up in person, it gave me chills in the best way possible. Loud, but not overbearing. A truly beautiful deep sound register.

The restrictive feeling you get from the stock system in the upper RPM's is gone. It pulls through with full power all the way into the higher RMP's.

Also I notice a considerable gain in how hard my car pulls already, with just these two items installed.

Have been modifying my vehicles for years, but this is without a doubt the best Exhaust/Downpipe combo I have ever seen.

Great Price on top of all of this... These two items combined are a must in my opinion!
I went Turbo Back with the High Flow Cat.

almost 14 months later....one of the best upgrades I made
I installed this 2 months ago and it is amazing!!! I love how loud it is; just perfect not to loud not to soft. You cant beat the price either. Great Job Corksport!
I just installed both the DP and CBE and when I first turned it on, it felt like when I was a kid unwrapping my present to see that I got a NES console. The deep tone of the exhaust rumbling gave chills to my soul and when I gave it a little gas, sh*t just got real. An unknown Corksport entity whisper in my ears saying "welcome to the dark side". Anyway the installation wasn't a breeze, but i got it done. The power gain is insane. Thank you CS for making this masterpiece!

If I ordered the kit with only the midpipe section (no axle-back) would you guys offer the single-exit piece to finish the exhaust? I'm a fan of the lightweight aspect but didn't saw it wasn't an option.
