The CorkSport Coilovers use 6K front springs and 7K rear springs. These rates were carefully chosen through rounds of testing and natural frequency analysis for the best balance of handling and ride quality. They are stiff enough for sporty handling on the street and track, yet soft enough to keep your daily commute comfortable. The rear spring rate is increased more than the front to create more neutral handling with reduced understeer. They pair fantastically with the CorkSport Rear Swaybar!
Pairing with the performance spring rates are 30-way rebound adjustable dampers. The damping was matched to the 6K/7K spring setup to ensure a ride that is sporty but not bouncy or harsh. Adjust the coilovers fully soft for a smooth daily commute or adjust them fully stiff and enjoy the added driver feedback and quick suspension response. Completing the package are front adjustable camber plates; these can help fine-tune your handling or get that little bit of camber needed to fit your wheels.
While the CS coilovers are designed around handling, we can’t ignore the great visual boost that comes with lowering a car. The CS coilovers offer a large range of height adjustability. In the front, you can adjust the height from ~0.5” higher than OEM all the way down to ~2.0” lower than OEM (+0.5” to -2.0”). For the rear, you can go from ~0.25” higher than OEM all the way down to ~2.0” lower than OEM (+0.25” to -2.0”). This is 2.5” of total adjustability in the front and 2.25” of total adjustability in the rear. This is a great balance that allows for proper suspension function at low heights for those wanting a stanced look while also offering an OEM+ look for those with a more subtle taste. Don’t worry though, wherever you end up on the height range, the lowering does come with handling benefits as well, such as a lower center of gravity, decreased body roll, and improved driver confidence!
Go all out with the optional Swift Springs upgrade for your Mazda. Spring rates and ride height stay the same however, you get the added bonuses that come with Swift Springs. Check out their site for full details and benefits!
Each and every component in the CS coilover kit is designed to last as long as your car. Corrosion-resistant materials and coatings are used to keep corrosion at bay. Do these coilovers also include camber adjustment?
Only on the fronts, we do offer a camber arm for the rears.
How much camber adjustability do you have on the front? I would like to use these on my dedicated autocross car.
