I cannot stress how great the CorkSport Lightweight crankshaft pulley is. From the moment you open the box it is very easy to tell how durable and light the pulley is. As for the install CorkSport has done a great job at making it as simple and straightforward as possible. I was able to do the install in my driveway with Jack stands and a friend. The install process was very clear especially while following CorkSports photo instructions. I would most definitely recommend having a friend along as well as having an impact wrench as it made getting the stock pulley off very easy. The most difficult process of the install would definitely be taking the serpentine and water pump belts off but, this is where having a friend and following the instructions is very important.

The instructions do an amazing job at outlining how to take off both belts, as well as how to get them on again. While doing the install you are able to witness a first hand comparison at how much lighter the CorkSport crank pulley is compared to the stock pulley, the difference is night and day! After completing the install you are able to feel the effect of this upgrade instantaneously. From the first pull you feel how much smoother the power delivery is, and the difference in how the rpm’s climb at a higher rate. I felt as if there is less of a delay in power delivery from the time of pressing the pedal to when the car accelerates. This mod definitely makes the car feel much more responsive and smoother, and is something I would recommend whether you have the turbo or NA engines.
