The 2021+ Mazda 3 Turbo has a lot of the components needed to be considered a “hot hatch” but is missing just a few pieces to the puzzle right out of the box. The CorkSport Lowering Springs for 2021+ Mazda 3 Turbo adds some much-needed style and handling to your ride. We custom-designed springs specifically for the Turbo models to allow for the ride height you want with the added bonus of reduced understeer and body roll. They’re even comfortable for the daily commute! Check out the full details and more pictures below.

The CorkSport lowering springs for GEN4 Mazda 3 turbo offers a great modified looking and substantial ride height drop. We went back to the drawing board and redesigned the springs to work correctly with the added weight of the turbo engine. For hatchback models, expect your ride height to drop approximately 1.5 inches front and 1.8 inches rear. For the slightly heavier sedan models, expect your ride height to drop approximately 1.5 inches front and 1.9 inches rear. Still have ride height questions? Give us a call we’re happy to help!
Appearance aside, the biggest benefit from the CorkSport lowering springs is improved handling and driver confidence through the corners. A vehicle lower to the ground will naturally have a lower center of gravity which results in better handling characteristics. The stiffer spring rates of the CS springs further add to this to promote less body roll. Finally, the rear springs were stiffened more than the front to help promote more neutral handling and less understeer when at the limit of traction.
We went through a few different combinations of spring rate and were surprised to find the best combination of ride and handling was actually the same as the non-turbo Mazda 3, mainly due to the same suspension design! The CS Mazda 3 turbo springs use a 3.4K front spring and a 5.9K rear spring. The OEM dampers are a little stiffer to suit the extra weight from the turbo motor which actually pairs really well with the stiffer rates of the CS springs. You really get the best of both worlds, better handling when you want it, yet a comfortable ride for the daily commute!
The CorkSport lowering springs install right in place of the OEM springs with no need for additional special parts. The one caveat is you have to trim your OEM bump stops to ensure you have proper suspension travel with the new lower ride height. With this new ride height, we have had minimal issues with scraping on driveways or speed bumps. As long as you’re careful and take severe driveways at an angle you should clear just fine!
High tensile strength spring steel is used for every CorkSport lowering spring to ensure a consistently performing spring that will not sag over time. Each spring is powder-coated red for a great look and strong corrosion resistance. Finally, the rear springs include spring silencers to prevent any added noises.

is this items also compatible for 2024 non turbo mazda3 HB? many thanks
We have never tested it on a non turbo. Yes the springs will fit but we do not know what the drop will be or how the car will handle with them.
I installed the red turbo lowering springs on my 2023 turbo hatchback following the instructions. The front fitment is as expected, but the rear sits higher than stock.
Hi John, If you haven't already, can you please reach out to us at sales@corksport.com and we would be happy to look into this for you.
Will the car need an alignment after installing these springs? Are any other parts necessary for a proper alignment?
An alignment is always recommended after replacing suspension components. No other parts are needed unless you want to run more aggressive specs than OEM.
It says that "Wheels & Tires: The Mazda 3 turbo shown in the above images has Advan GT wheels in 19x8.5 +38 size with Kumho 235/35 R19 tires." Will this wheel and tire fitment work on the sedan as well?
Yes, they are set up the same.
Will installing these springs void my factory warranty?
They will void the OEM warranty on suspension components.
Can coilovers be installed with the lowering springs or it has to be replaced.
A true coilover kit will replace both the springs and struts. So you would not need that and a lowering spring kit.
Is there any consideration for coilovers in the future?
We are working on coilovers and should have more news in the near future.
Will these lowering springs for the Mazda 3 be cross-compatible for the Mazda CX-30 AWD?
Due to the differences between the chassis, they don't fit the CX-30.
I am concerned these where tested on 19in rims my 2021 Mazda 3 HB Turbo has 18 inch factory Mazda rims, with 18 will it still have that low profile look?
The drop is the same, if you check in one of the 4th gen groups you can find pictures of them installed on cars with the OEM wheels.
Will these springs work on the AWD turbo models ?
Yes they will.
Are the lowering springs for the 21 Mazda 3 hatchback only available in red? I see you have blue ones for the non turbo.
Yes, but once installed you would have to get pretty close to see them.
