If performance and reliability are important to you AND you have equipped your Mazda with a Turbocharger or Supercharger; then an oil catch can is a critical component for your 2014-2018 Mazda 3 and 2013-2017 Mazda 6 SkyActiv engine. Cylinder blow of gases and oil vapor build up in the engine crank case during normal and boosted spirited driving situations. The OE design utilizes a PCV valve to pull these gases and vapors into the intake manifold to be recycled through the combustion process. A byproduct of this process is excessive buildup of contaminants in the intake manifold and cylinder head, especially on the top of the intake valves. This causes negative effects on performance and efficiency as well as potentially causing expensive servicing or repair. The CorkSport Oil Catch Can provides an additional step in this process to help filter out contaminates and vapors before they enter the intake manifold. This kit is specifically setup for forced induction. Due to the added boost pressure in the intake manifold while WOT, the routing and connections points need to change vs the Naturally Aspirated setups. #ZoomZoom!

Performance Design

The CorkSport OCC dual chamber design separates the inlet and outlet ports by a center pass through disc. This promotes the incoming gases, vapors, and contaminates to spin and condense on the outside wall before the air passes through the separation disc. The resulting fluids pool in the bottom of the OCC for drainage.

The OCC body, ports and dip stick are manufactured from 6061-T6 billet aluminum with internal and external brackets manufacturer from stainless steel for long lasting durability.

Replacing the OEM PCV system with an aftermarket Oil Catch Can System may allow smells of gasoline and oil to ventilate into the engine bay and thus the cabin depending on HVAC settings; this is normal of an Oil Catch Can System especially during idling situations and after shutting off the engine. If excessive smell is noticed, inspect hose connections and drain the catch can.
Recommended to inspect & verify the PCV is working correctly when installing the OCC Kit. Replace if needed.

The kit is great. I have 2017 mazda 3 with eloop. With eloop you cannot locate the can in same spot due to the capacitor being there. But your can use the provided bracket and move can about 7 inches more towards the front on same crash bar. Works great after that. Very happy.

I already had the CS catch can but just needed the bits for the turbo kit… made installing the catch can with the turbo kit easy as pie thanks to the included hoses and hardware.

The CS catch can is a great addition to ANY engine, NA or Turbo. Its crazy seeing all the nasty junk that is kept from entering my engine when I drain it. This is a must have for anyone wanting to increase longevity of their engine.
