Design Focused:

The OEM mount features two openings that allow it to flex and move to reduce felt NVH. While this is great on a stock car, it leaves performance on the table as we have found with the CS replacement RMM. The design of the inserts has been tailored during testing to provide a good balance of increased mount stiffness while minimizing the amount of added NVH while driving. This results in a combination that fits in between the stock and our replacement RMM in terms of performance and added NVH.

Performance Polyurethane:

The polyurethane durometer selected for the CS RMM Inserts is 70A. This durometer was chosen for its ease of installation in the factory mount while still providing a snug fit. This helps the inserts stay in place when the engine is moving during operation and also allows for the necessary movement to reduce the amount of NVH transferred to the inside of the cabin while driving.

NVH: Noise, Vibration, & Harshness in the vehicle cabin will be increased with the use of the CorkSport rear motor mount inserts due to the increased stiffness.
The CS RMM will have the most noticeable NVH at idle and just off idle RPM range when using the A/C.

2024 Mazda 3 2.5 N/A auto.. car feels better everywhere except idle in reverse gear.. it’s definitely noticeable.. but driving it has better throttle response, seems to corner better as well. Steering feels a little more direct.. only inreverse on the brake, I can feel the NVH and in drive at idle on the brake only a wee little. Overall good..

I got these for my brand new 2023 turbo premium plus. The car is my commuter car and I didn't want the harshness from the full on mount. I used to have the full mount in my 2006 3 and liked it but that was a much more crude car and I didn't care. I did this mod at the same time I put my springs in from Corksport so I was already down there. After install I did notice more NVH but only on startup the first time. After the first start I only notice when shifting into either Reverse or Drive and not at all after that. I can tell it is there, so I know it is working but given that it is an automatic and brand new I didn't notice as much of a difference with my old manual tranny car. Still glad I did it though, as I can tell there is less engine movement.
This is a great compromise for a daily driver and the pluses out weigh the slight NVH you pick up.

Stiffened up the engine rocking and shifts feel firmer. Was looking for a step down from the rear motor mount since people were reporting it being too harsh on automatic transmission models.
Install was straightforward but torquing down the bolts was difficult on ramps.
Only noticeable vibration is in idle, in drive and reverse (reverse is quite a bit more noticeable vs drive).

Overall happy with the purchase!

So far so good!

Mount dramatically improves the feel of the car. No longer does the car feel like the entire engine is rocking about. Shifts feel firm and reliable. Help the drivetrain feel smoother overall. I haven't found that the mount increase vibration while the car is in cylinder deactivation and honestly improves the feeling when it drops down into it.

You definitely get a noticeable increase in nvh on idle in drive and reverse but is completely gone while driving.

Install was very easy, biggest pain is trying to torque everything back down (installed on my driveway on jackstands)

I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking for a tighter more predictable shifting feel
