Introducing the CorkSport Cat Back Exhaust for 2019+ Mazda 3. Add some much-needed sound to the 4th GEN 3 and improve performance! The CS cat back exhaust replaces everything from the header back with 63.5mm fully polished, mandrel bent, stainless steel piping. It's a step up in volume and aggressiveness from the CorkSport axle back exhaust, without adding annoying drone or raspy tones.

The CorkSport cat back exhaust completely replaces the OEM midpipes and restrictive OEM muffler section with 63.5mm mandrel bent pipe and pass-thru resonators. The larger pipe adds a great sound and tone for the backroads while the high-flowing resonators control drone so your car is still comfortable on the daily commute! We tested multiple resonator setups in both the axle back and midpipe sections and found that the asymmetric axle back design and large oval resonator in the midpipe results in the absolute best combination of tone, volume, and drone control for your MZ3.
What good is sound without a little power to go with it? Installing the CorkSport Cat-Back Exhaust (with the CorkSport Short Ram Intake previously installed) netted us approximately 20wTQ and 10-18wHP. You can see significant gains from 2700rpm through the rpm range til redline at 6200rpm. Note: AWD Turbo model has not been tested.
Each CS cat back exhaust system was designed from the ground up to fit just like your OEM exhaust system. We offer two different midpipe setups for great fitment, no matter if your vehicle is AWD or FWD. Don’t worry though, both use the same resonator design so you know your car will sound great, regardless of your drivetrain!
If your Mazda 3 is equipped with cylinder deactivation don’t be worried because we have a solution for you. Utilizing a bracket made out of 304 stainless steel, you can mount your cylinder deactivation motor securely out of the way to ensure no check engine lights are set and also reduce the restriction caused by the factory internal valve.
The Mazda 3 catback exhaust system comes with your choice of exhaust tip option. We have fitments for the hatch, sedan, and even the hatch with the aero kit! The aero kit option is simply a more aggressive hatch fitment that goes perfectly with the more aggressive OEM Mazda aero kit. If you want a more subdued look, the regular hatch fitment also looks great. To top it off, each tip fitment can be adjusted outward to suit exactly the look you are going for on your Mazda!
The CorkSport cat back exhaust is made from fully polished, mandrel bent, 304 stainless steel for a fantastic look that will stand up to the elements and keep your Mazda breathing easy. All joints use TIG welds for long-lasting strength and all hanger locations have extra bracing to ensure a secure exhaust for years to come. Lastly, each exhaust comes with all hardware and gaskets that are needed for installation to keep your Mazda 3 running smoothly!
It will take you 3 hours to install the Mazda 3 Cat Back Exhaust System with our instructions.

Hello, I recently bought full exhaust system from you guys and one of my tips fell off while I was driving. Can you guys ship passenger side exhaust tip? If so, how much $ would it be? Thank you!

Does cat-back exhaust system include an adjustable valve?
No it does not
can we change the downpipe 4-1 after installed the cat-back system? will it add drone ?
Adding this exhaust will increase the NVH you experience while driving it. Having an exhaust manifold added to it will make it increasingly loud.
Does this void a warranty… lol. 2024 Mazda 3 Awd turbo premium plus hatchback. Bought it and installed before I got a plate for it. Haha
If your dealer says that it is voided because of a new exhaust, look for a new dealer
Could it be shipped to Chinaļ¼
Possibly. Contact sales@corksport.com
Does this fit the SkyX model?
It has not been confirmed to fit the skyactiv-x
My Mazda does not have the appearance kit included stock. If I'm looking to upgrade to an appearance kit in the future, can I buy the appearance kit version of the exhaust and use it stock until I buy the appearance kit? Will it still fit?
It will still fit, the tips just stick out a bit farther.
So I know this deletes the secondary CAT, but isn't that illegal in all 50 states? I also know this is for "off-road" use. I live in NJ, and our emissions testing is pretty uptight, would my MZ3 fail the testing? It's probably a yes, but I'd still like to make sure. Wouldn't it also throw a CEL if you remove the secondary CAT, considering there is usually a sensor to detect it? Thanks.
The removal of the secondary cat will not throw a CEL. That being said, we don't verify if it passes emissions in any region.
i don’t know if my car has the appearance kit on it or not, is there a way to tell?
You can send a picture of the rear bumper to sales@corksport.com and we can identify it for you.
Do you support Japanese models? Is it possible to install without problems? 2020 BFPF 2.0L mazda3 sedan
While we can't confirm the parts will fit JDM vehicles, if the part numbers for the OEM exhaust matches the USDM variant, it should work.
Do you guys have a decibel reading for the cat back exhaust non turbo?
We don't but in line with other product offerings it is probably less than 75dB at full throttle.
What is the weight of the Cat back exhaust system?
About 30lbs
Will this add any pops or crackling to the NA engine
No, that kind of sound generally comes from excess fuel on decel.
I read that this deletes the cat...but if it's a cat back exhaust, that means the OEM cat is retained?
The OEM exhaust has two cats, this eliminates the secondary one.
Smog check friendly?? lol
Our exhausts are for off road use only and are not guaranteed to pass any smog checks.
Bonjour peut-on l'avoir pour la france, combien de frais de port.cdt.
Nous expédions en France, envoyez un e-mail à sales@corksport.com pour plus d'informations
Does the vehicle have to be tuned after adding the cat back or axel back exhaust? Does it have to be tuned if you install either exhaust systems plus the intake?
A cat back or axle back exhaust does not require a tune.
I have a 2021 Mazda 3 100th Annie. A post a few months ago said that the 80 mm catback exhaust for the 2021 turbo should be out in a few months. Is this going to be available in the next couple weeks? If not, I'm interested in the 63.5 mm option too. What would you recommend?
The 80mm kit is in development, but we don't have a release date at the moment. If you have a turbo and will be tuning for max power, we recommend waiting for the 80mm. If you would just like a mild power jump and moderate noise increase, the 63.5 is for you.
Will is have any effect on passing emissions testing in Virginia?
That depends on if local regulations allow the removal of the secondary cat.
Package Title indicates, "CAT Back" exhaust... However, the description indicates that this is a "Header-back" exhaust. So. Which is it?
Due to the way the exhausts are set up on these cars, with the primary cat on the OEM header, we phrase it as a cat back. Technically, you could call it a header back as well.
I am looking at buying the catback for my 2021 turbo and was confused on the appearance package. Does this only refer to the rear diffuser portion of the appearance package - or the whole thing with the side skirts! Thank you.
Yes, as the tips for the appearance package version will stick out farther.
Hi, When will the CS exhaust for turbo models be coming out ?
We are hoping to release the 80mm version in the next few months.
What is the expected gain for the 2.0L engine?
We don't have dyno results for the 2.0, it should be near the gains seen from the 2.5.
CARB/ California compliant?
Our exhausts are not CARB compliant, sorry.
Fitment on Skyactiv X NOT Confirmed
Fitment on 2.5L and 2.0L Skyactiv G Engine Confirmed
