CorkSport Big Brake calipers provide the ultimate in stopping power for your Mazda. Crafted from extremely lightweight billet aluminum, the CorkSport calipers use an opposed piston design that is fixed to provide greatly improved pad wear, and caliper rigidity over the OEM design.

At just over 7lbs, the aluminum CorkSport Big Brake Kit shaves almost 8lbs of unsprung weight off each corner of your Mazda, all while adding more stopping power and a much better pedal feel.

Available in 3 anodized colors, this brake system includes everything you need to easily upgrade your stock braking system and includes: High strength steel brackets, calipers, stainless steel braided front brake lines, brake pads and all necessary hardware. how to install Mazdaspeed 6 upgraded calipers

I purchased this kit back on my old MS6 back in 2017. After a few months, the anodized coating on the caliper began to dull and fade. I had the blue option. Has there been any changes to the caliper to prevent this from fading or have the same issue?

This kit was everything I had hoped for and more. Fit and finish is the high quality I expect from Corksport and I couldn't be happier with this product.

The CS Big Brake Caliper Kit is absolutely amazing. Its construction is of the highest quality and the price point is cheaper than any off the shelf BBK. $1000 including the purchase of new rotors, brake cleaner and fluid. This is compared to the three sets of Brembo brakes I have worked with on a 2009 C63 AMG, 2014 CTS-V and a 2014 5.0 Mustang GT. The anodized finish is done very well and the lines on the calipers are comparable. The install went smoothly and the directions/videos were a great resource. The stainless lines and the mount brackets fit snug and allow for a fair amount of adjustment. The pedal feel is much firmer and the stopping power is incredible. The supplied pad seating directions are very important to follow and the brakes come alive after deceleration number 3. I nearly headbutted my steering wheel while getting used to the new pedal modulation. If you track your car or have a spirited driving style, this brake upgrade is a must. The only things that are not perfect about the kit is that the stainless braided lines could be an inch or two longer and the brake pad contact patch should cover the entire face of the rotor. Other than that, the kit is wonderful, performs extremely well and looks incredible.

I have fitted these exact calipers to a 1997 Mazda Sporthatch 'GE/Mark IV' chassis with the Mazdaspeed (GG) 320mm brake rotors. They are all a direct bolt on fitment and work very very well. Corksport supply shim washers to precisely centralise the calipers. I used my existing teflon brake hoses. So in my opinion, these brakes will fit many Probes, MX-6, 626, almost any GE platform and some CB Chassis 323's & Lantis fitted with KL V6's. As always, do your research with any part not specifically designed for your vehicle.
