Besides the power difference, is there a sound difference between the stage 1 and stage 2 intake? Which one is louder?

I just got a 2010 speed3. It happens to have a CP-E inlet pipe and CAI. I'd rather have a short ram intake. Question is: will your SRI work with the CP-E inlet pipe?

Trying to decide between this and the stage 2. How much more power will the stage 2 create?

my first Corksport product, installed this weekend, and i love it! nice to hear that turbo doing work for a change! kinda crazy how well mazda was able to silence it with the stock box. the instructions were perfect but i'd add one sidenote, if you're on an 09 MS3, the house clamp on the TIP was a B**** to get to, it's doable with some ingenuity but would be a lot easier with the battery housing/ECU harnesses removed...but i suppose if you are removing all that you might as well buy the Stage 2 version of this intake. Great product, excellent quality and excellent customer service (big thanks Spencer!) highly recommend for someone who wants to do some light bolt-ons

loving the sri! definitely can hear the turbo spool and the stock bov. i should have gotten the blue MAF housing. it was an easy install. instructions are right on. the only thing i was missing the hex to tighten my sensor but i have a set of hexes and found the right one. be careful when tightening the clamp that goes over the stock TIP as i may have cracked mine but so far its good.

Ordered my short shift plate and Stage 1 SRI on May 28, and received my order on the 31st of May. Very fast shipping considering the order went vis US Postal Service from Washington State to Easter PA. Installed both the shift plate and the SRI in about an hour. Very easy install and very high quality products.



The short shift plate made shifting much more precise and quick. Awesome product. The SRI looks awesome and since the air box needed to be out of the way, I would recommend doing both of these mods at the same time. The sound of the turbo spooling and the BPV working is just awesome. I have not had the chance to really do any butt dynoing yet, but from what I can tell there is an increase in the force at which the car pulls.



Spending a couple of hundred bucks for this much fun and improvement in the car is a no brainer.
