Avoid Unwanted Check-Engine Lights

The MAF housing is precision machined from billet aluminum to prevent air leaks and inaccurate readings.

*Made for gasoline engines only. Will not work on diesel engines. With the CorkSport Intake installed on the SkyActiv engine, at higher RPM's you may hear a slight ticking from the opening and closing of the injectors. This is completely normal and is what helps increase torque and fuel economy.

Durable Dry Flow Air Filter

Reusable and water resistant, this unique non-woven filter media does not require oil to filter and trap dirt and actually sheds dirt under engine vibration unlike cotton-gauze which holds contaminates until you clean the filter.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t really think this intake was going to be any good after my last experiences buying air intakes from different sites. However, as soon as I started unpacking the box I knew I was wrong. I was expecting flimsy silicone, a small shitty filter, and for the intake to not even fit. It actually fit perfect, every part seems to be extremely durable, and I can already tell a difference when driving. Not to mention it sounds cool, looks cool, and they priced it cheap compared to the competition without giving up quality. Highly, highly, highly recommend. Lastly, the instructions were super simple, it took me 38 minutes (I timed myself). Thanks Corksport, you guys keep doin what you’re doin.

Looks good and easy to install. Better acceleration and sound when you are in the throttle. Driving from Boise, ID to Seattle, WA next week and will see about mileage increases.

First thing, the product is constructed of high-quality materials and the appearance is first rate. Second thing, the instructions are well-detailed, easy to understand and have COLOR photos to assist in the build. I found this to be very helpful during the installation. After taking several drives, I noticed that the engine has a much better sound than before. It's not "noisy", but now has a bit of a growl to it that sounds awesome. I even turned the stereo off so I could listen to it. It feels as the engine has more power, but that's just a seat-of-the-pants estimate and not verified by any type of testing. The biggest thing I noticed, and the main reason for purchasing this item, is that I now have much better throttle response all through the rev range. I like to manually shift, and hitting the throttle at 3K or 4K rpm gave me much better passing ability. Also, when accelerating from a slow speed, the old hesitation is gone, with the engine now cleanly revving and the car accelerating much better than before. I don't ever check my fuel usage, so I can't comment on any possible MPG gains. Overall, I love the short ram intake and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to make a noticeable improvement on their CX-3.

Really impressed with this kit. Easy install, clear instructions, and beautiful high quality parts.
Would definitely recommend to another CX-3 owner.

I have not had the intake installed for long enough to tell if their will be a change in my MPG's, but time will tell.

Wow. My CX-3 has has gone from sounding like a blender to sounding like a V6. I mean it—this car no longer sounds like a four cylinder. This thing performs WELL beyond my expectations. The sound is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and the engine rumble and groans like an exotic. The car is also much louder than before. CorkSport— THANK YOU for making my Mazda sound so good!!!

Besides the sound, the intake looks awesome in the engine bay, especially in all red with silver clamps. Unfortunately, it is difficult to tell if there has actually been an increase in horsepower or torque, but throttle response is definitely more instant (less build-up time; the engine just screams when you put your foot down) than it was before. Furthermore, I have noticed slight improvements in fuel economy (when I'm not flooring the thing to hear the incredible noise) and installation was quick and easy.

As soon as I have the chance, I am going to record some acceleration runs using a professional-grade microphone and link the video in this comments section—I have not been able to find a high quality recording of this intake coupled with the 2.0L SkyActive engine.

The installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took me around 1 hour to install it.

My average mileage jumped up to 37 mpg (Grand Touring AWD). The engine feels like it breathes much better when accelerating. In my humble opinion, it feels like a gain of around 5 HP. I can also hear what the engine is doing much better, so manually shifting is a lot easier now too.

Highly recommended! Well designed. Excellent machining, top notch materials and hardware.
