Help your Mazda 6 Turbo breathe better with the CorkSport Downpipe for 2018-2022 models equipped with the 2.5T! Featuring two-piece construction using a cast stainless steel bellmouth and 80mm piping, the CS downpipe adds some more growl and bonus power potential to your 6. Available with a high-flow cat or full catless to suit your preference and build goals.
Wheel & Tire Setup: Rays 57FXZ 18x10 +40 with 265/40 Tires.
The CorkSport Downpipe is designed to fit just like an OEM downpipe, while flowing much better! We used 3D scan data of the stock downpipe to CAD design our two piece downpipe to ensure perfect fitment with the turbocharger and OEM or aftermarket exhausts. The two-piece design also provides an easy install as you won’t have piping in the way when tightening the mounting bolts!
The CorkSport downpipe offers bonus power potential for your Mazda 6 turbo. By eliminating the poorly bent 65mm piping of the OEM downpipe and the large catalytic converter, the CorkSport downpipe offers minimal restrictions and greater peak flow. The cast bellmouth provides a smooth transition from turbo to piping, with 80mm piping providing enough flow to efficiently support 500+ HP. Check out the release blog for more details!
The CorkSport Mazda 6 downpipe is offered in both fully catless and a high flow cat setup to suit your preferences for your build. Fully catless setup will offer the best in performance while the 300cel high flow cat offers minimal restriction but without the added smell of a catless vehicle. As replacing/removing your catalytic converter is illegal in most areas, the CorkSport downpipe is sold for off-road or race use only.
Each CorkSport downpipe is produced using high quality materials and manufacturing processes. At the turbo, a cast 304 stainless steel bellmouth is used for its durability and flexibility in manufacturing. The OEM piping is replaced by 80mm mandrel bent and TIG welded piping again for long lasting durability. The sections are joined together using CNC machined v-band flanges for a leak free seal.
Included with your downpipe is everything needed for installation, plus a few extras! The OEM turbo studs are very long and are prone to breakage as a result, so we supply brand new high strength turbo studs and crimp nuts. Also included is new hardware and a Remflex gasket for the downpipe to exhaust connection. A supplied stainless v-band clamp keeps the upper and lower downpipe sections securely connected. We even include a custom heat shield to fit the CS downpipe to keep all other engine bay components safe.
It will take you 4 hours to install the Mazda6 Turbo Dump Tube with our step by step instructions.

Since the 2019 CX-5 with the 2.5T, and the Mazda6 share the same platform, would it fit in the CX-5 with the same engine? Was this something that never was test fit, or was proven to not fit through testing. Would it be possible to test fit/develop one for the CX-5 with the 2.5t?
The Mazda 6 is 2wd so the pipe path would be different.
Do the two pieces "lock" together before the band clamp? Thinking potential leaks and/or coming apart. Thanks-
They have flanges that fit together to ensure a clean mating between the two parts,
DIESELļ¼ļ¼ļ¼
We did not get the diesel motor here and are unable to confirm fitment.
I see that the down pipe won’t directly fit to the 2019 Mazda Cx-5 turbo but how difficult would it be to mend it and create space so it does fit?
We can't comment on the amount of work necessary to make it work on the CX-5 at this time.
Would it fit 2018 cx9? Since same engine
We have not test fit this part on the CX-9
is there a downstream O2 sensor on either of the down pipes
The downstream sensor is on the mid pipe portion of the exhaust.
Will the catless downpipe able to fit CX-5 2.5T? Thanks!
The Mazda6 downpipe does not directly bolt on to the CX-5
When will you have proper tuning, I already have the exhaust and cold air intake I would like to get this after I got a tune.
We are not involved with the tuning process, reach out to DramaTuned for tune support.
Has anyone tried fitting this to the 4th gen mazda 3 turbo? (2020-2022) I know it's the same engine.
We have a downpipe specific to the 4th gen 3 that will be releasing soon.
Will this fit for a regular 2.5L Mazda 6 2018-22? If not, are there plans to have one available?
No, this is specific to the turbo model. We do have a prototype exhaust manifold for the NA currently.
I was wondering if you had any performance data that compares the Catted to the non-Catted models?
Not at the moment.
What kind of power gains can we expect from the cat or the catless downpipe?
That will depend on your supporting mods and tune.
