CorkSport Big Brake calipers provide the ultimate in stopping power for your Mazda. Crafted from extremely lightweight billet aluminum, the CorkSport calipers use an opposed-piston design that is fixed to provide greatly improved pad wear, and caliper rigidity over the OEM design. At just over 7 lbs, the aluminum CorkSport Big Brake Kit shaves almost 8 lbs of unsprung weight off each corner of your Mazda, all while adding more stopping power and a much better pedal feel. Available in 3 anodized colors, this brake system includes everything you need to easily upgrade your stock braking system and includes: High strength steel brackets, calipers, stainless steel braided front brake lines, brake pads, and all necessary hardware. Just install and go, no searching for extra parts or ordering additional items. Fits2004-2013 Mazda 3 and Mazdaspeed 3 2007-2013 with the use of OEM sized Mazdaspeed 3 rotors.

With aluminum pistons, and dual high-temperature O-rings instead of fragile dust boots, the CorkSport Big Brake Calipers are perfect for daily driving, spirited runs in the mountains or track day fun.

The CorkSport Advantage:

  • Superior Construction: Crafted from billet aluminum and made to last with durable components
  • Longevity: With dual O-rings far away from the brake pads these calipers are able to handle much more abuse than typical dust boot equipped calipers.
  • Lightweight: At just over 7lbs a side, this kit saves almost 8lbs of unsprung weight per corner!
  • Cost Effective: We kept the cost lower by replacing just the Front Calipers, which have the most stopping power.
  • Versatile: Designed around a popular brake pad style (Hawk #HB700) (HB700B.562 HPS, HB700B.562 HPS5.0, HB700N.562 HP+, HB700W.562 DTC-30), you can use almost any brake pad compound available on the market.
  • Available in Three Colors: Choose from Black, Red or Blue in a durable anodized finish
  • Ease of Use: With simple hand tools you can change brake pads in minutes and with full rebuild-ability you can be back to factory fresh brakes in no time.
  • CorkSport Service and Support: Receive full color installation instructions, all of the needed installation hardware, and knowledgeable telephone support.

  • Note: Track use and/or extreme heat can fade the anodization resulting in a silver/gold finish. This does not affect performance of the brake kit.

Raider Approved! This is a great daily driving kit. Installation was easy, and boy I noticed a big difference. If I was tracking I would go to the big boy kit, but this one works awesome!
These not only stop GREAT, but look GREAT!! I ended up breaking a Banjo bolt installing & Zach S. got me one shipped out SAME DAY I called.. HUGE shout out to him and the Corksport team for always taking care of me and my Mazda!! ???????? You guys rock..
Had these on my gen1 speed3 for 6 months now. Install was stupid easy. These things are overkill for the street, imo. Totally worth it but Overkill nonetheless. Modulation is so much better than stock and it makes heel-toe shifting more stable because initial bite is less than OEM but I suspect that's because I'm still running with the pads it came with, which are street pads at best. Will be getting EBC yellow stuff up front when these wear out. Upgrade your rear pads if you get this, as to not ruin brake bias too badly. I went with EBC red and I will rotate if I'm not careful lol. I got the CS blue and I love it. Stoptech slotted rotors on all 4 corners and DOT4 brake fluid as well.
I bought This Caliper kit for my 2011 MS3 about 5 yrs ago...... I driven over 120KM around 70,000 miles, no problems still look great, except it will be time to change the pads soon!! I sort of remember hearing the pads are from a Subi WRX?? is that right?? what yrs....etc etc. I would want the original pads...they worked very well!!
Just got these installed with new stock rotors, I ordered black because I didn't want to look too racy. I have a twinge of regret not going for the red or blue because they look so good but the black looks classy under the stock alloy Speed3 wheels.

I only have a few quick miles on them, so far though they feel really good. I previously was using Hawk HPS blue pads which had a somewhat aggressive bite to them compared to the pads in this kit. The CS pads don't feel as aggressive but maybe that'll change as I break in the new setup.

Compliments from the service techs who installed them, thanks for a great product CS!
Before purchasing these I have a question maybe yous could answer. With the stock brakes and brake pads I get an extreme amount of brake dust surrounding my two from wheels. With the installation of these, will it decrease the brake dust dramatically so I don't have to constantly clean my wheels?
Will it fit on mazda3 2004 (BK3P , No mazda speed)? I live in Japan.I own mazda3 of japanese model.

CorkSport Reply:Please check our FAQ for an answer to your question.
They weren't as impressive as i hoped at the track. Ended up selling them two days after purchased when it only shaved about one second on the track. Also decided they weren't keeping once you realize how STUPID your car looks with only the front set and i mean really stupid. They should at least offer a rear kit for appearance sake.

Inb4 this gets deleted because of the poor review

    >>>CorkSport Reply: Matthew did you use a track set of brake pads with the kit? The brake pads included are for the street/autox not the track.
could you compare the included pads vs the other corksport ones listed on your site?
Currently driving a 08 Mazda3 S. MS3 rotors are required for this kit, but is the full MS3 brake conversion necessary? Can I just slap some MS3 rotors on and the bracket will fit to correct size?

CorkSport Reply: It only requires a Mazdaspeed 3 Rotor to work with a standard Mazda 3. Nothing else required.

Some questions asked in this post said yes to fitting a 2015 Mazda 3 and then others say it will not. Looking at these for a 2018 Mazda 3 will these fit or do I have to shell out the extra $400 for the gen 3 bbk?

You posted in 2013 that these use the TR WRX spec pads now you say Mazdaspeed 3 spec pads work. Did you redesign the calipers or is there a typo somewhere in your posts? Also, the photos look as if these have quick change pads that do not require removal of the caliper. Is this the case?
