Performance Lowering Springs for your 2014-2017 Mazda 6 are back and better than ever before!

Have you been wanting to improve the look of your 6, while still keeping good ride quality and fitment? That was the main focus on the new CorkSport Lowering Springs for the 2014-2017 Mazda 6. The CS lowering springs will drop your 6 approximately 1.20in (30mm) front & 1.75in (45mm) rear, giving it a presence that is much more performance orientated. Note: The drop in the front is slightly less when compared to our original drop of 1.75" in both the front and rear, providing an improved ride.

Not only do the CS springs make your 6 look better, they also help improve driving characteristics with the increase to the front and rear spring rates. The spring rate in the front has been increased to 4.6K and the rear was increased to 8.1K. These new spring rates help improve the handling characteristics while going through the back roads and provide more feedback to the driver. More of the details on the CS lowering springs for the 2014-2017 Mazda 6 can be found below.

The CorkSport Advantage

2017 Mazda 6 Sedan Lowering Springs

Improved Handling:

Reducing the ride height and increasing the spring rates of your Mazda with the CS lowering springs will provide a reduction in body roll and will lead to a sportier, more agile feeling driving experience. This improvement to the stability of the vehicle gives you extra confidence when you want to push more through the back roads.

Style & Ride Quality:

Dropping your 6 1.20in (30mm) in the front and 1.75in (45mm) in the rear provides you with a whole new look. The new heights of the CS lowering springs levels out the 6 so that the vehicle is free from excessive rake. The factory dampening works well with the increased spring rates of 4.6K in the front and 8.1K in the rear so the ride is still smooth when driving around town or are doing highway trips.

Fitment & Installation:

The installation of the CS lowering springs on your Mazda 6 is right in line with OE so there will be no surprises during install. Only modifications to the bumps stops are required to maintain the correct distance before they are engaged when the suspension is cycling to provide a smoother ride quality.

Mazda 6 Low Suspension Height

Materials & Manufacturing:

The CS lowering springs are finished in CS blue powder coat to provide a durable barrier against the elements and corrosion. The springs are constructed with a spring steel that has a high tensile strength and also features spring isolators for the rear springs to ensure no new sounds come from the suspension during operation.

Product Advisory Note
  • NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) may be increased due to stiffer spring rates.
  • Aftermarket performance dampers (shocks & struts) are recommended.
  • Vehicle shown has the CorkSport 2.5L Turbo Kit installed, non-turbo’d cars may have slightly higher ride height in the front suspension.

Have had these on for about a month now and have been so happy with them. The ride height is perfect now! A must have compared to the stock ride height!
Ride is actually way more comfortable than OEM springs. Smoother ride yet firm, but you can’t complain whatsoever when on lowered springs. The drop is perfect & I’m glad I didn’t go with other brands like others have.
The look is perfect. The work was easy, basic mechanic skills. No problem. The ride is great, and the delivery time was speedy enough for me!! Very pleased.
Great product & delivers as promised. However, I would suggest replacing the dampeners as the original Mazda units do not respond quickly enough & make the car feel loose. Overall, 8/10.
Just had them installed a few weeks ago. At first they looked amazing I couldn't believe the difference, then after they settled they looked even better. Extremely happy with this purchase. Definitely gave the car a totally different look. Thank you corksport :)
Took the car to another level as far as looks and handling! Dare i say a must have for these vehicles.
Just had them installed and love the responce and ride quality.

Just purchased 18x8 wheels + 40 offset with 235 50r 18 tires online. I currently have these springs and I'm wondering now, if they'll fit without rubbing in the rear. I own a 17' Mazda 6 sport. Any thoughts?
