Let’s be honest… You’re not looking at this bar because the rear suspension feels a little sloppy when all your kids are packed into the back seat. You’re not considering this because body roll makes transporting your late great-grandmother’s fragile heirloom china a bit too sketchy. In fact, I’m not even convinced you came here looking for this bar.
But I think you’re searching for something. Hunting for it. Starving for it.
You’re after that incredible feeling of being glued to the road as you rip your family muscle wagon through a banked 180-degree interchange ramp—while your wife screams at you to slow down. The zen it brings on a late-night run through the mountains, weaving through corners with snappy precision. The satisfaction of shaving down your lap times. The smile you can’t wipe off your face after nailing a clean autocross run.
But here we are—you, looking at this bar, and me, here to tell you it can do every bit of that. Bottom line? It’s worth it.
There are plenty of great modifications you can make to a Mazda 3 platform, but upgrading the rear sway bar is a must-have that instantly transforms how your car feels and drives. This bar is beefy, well-made, and comes with two settings, allowing you to fine-tune your suspension to match your other upgrades. Plus, it includes upgraded billet mounts that are greasable—a solid bonus for durability and ease of maintenance.
If I had to recommend just one performance upgrade to anyone new to the platform, it would be the CorkSport rear sway bar—hands down. The only regret you’ll have is not installing it sooner.
