The GEN4 Mazda 3 will turn heads straight from the factory however we felt the need to take it to the next level. The CorkSport Performance Lowering Springs for 2019+ Mazda 3 provide an aggressive lowered stance so you’re ready for a car show or the twisties. We tuned the spring rates to decrease understeer and reduce body roll, to really get the best out of your 3. These springs work for all models of the 2019+ MZ3, however, they provide a different amount of lowering depending on which configuration you have. So read on for full details!#ZoomZoom!

The CorkSport lowering springs offer an aggressive drop for your GEN4. We have tested on multiple models to best understand how they lower each configuration. For the lightest version (front-wheel drive, manual transmission, hatchback), the CS springs lower the vehicle approximately 1.5 inches front and 1.8 inches rear. For the heaviest version (all-wheel drive, auto transmission, sedan), the CS springs lower the vehicle approximately 1.6 inches front and 2.2 inches rear. Check out the pictures of each, and be sure to give us a call if you have any questions!

While appearance is a big part of lowering springs, we also focused heavily on handling when designing the CS GEN4 springs. Lowering a vehicle naturally improves your cornering ability by lowering the vehicle’s center of gravity. Combining this with stiffer spring rates, equals less body roll and improved driver confidence during hard cornering. In addition, we stiffened the rear springs more than the fronts to reduce understeer.

We tested a few different ride height and spring rate configurations to really dial in the best look and feel for your GEN4 MZ3. We settled on 3.4K front and 5.9K rear springs. Compared to the OEM rates of 2.23K front and 4.20K rear, you can see we had a pretty big jump compared to OEM. This change in stiffness is noticeable however it is definitely still daily-driver friendly and still fits well with the OEM damping. For more info on testing, check out our release blog, linked at the bottom of this page!

The CorkSport lowering springs can be installed on your GEN4 with ease. They are a direct fit into the OEM locations; however, you do have to trim your bump stops to allow for the new lower ride height. While this is a decently large drop in ride height, we have had minimal issues with scraping and bumper clearance. Only the worst of the worst driveways have been an issue and we’re even able to use our local drive-thru car wash with no scraping!

The performance wheels shown on the Mazda 3 Hatchback and Sedan are Advan GT 19x8.5+38 with a Kumho 235/35 summer performance tire. For stock wheels and tires a 10-15mm spacer is a good starting point to get a much improved flush look without spending extra cash on a wheel and tire setup.

Each CorkSport lowering spring is made from high tensile strength spring steel to ensure strength and longevity. The springs are also powdercoated blue to prohibit corrosion and give a great look. For the rear springs, we also use spring silencers to prevent any noise and keep you 3 quiet just like OEM.

It will take you four hours to install the CorkSport Lowering Springs with our easy-to-use instructions.

Are there any aftermarket shocks/struts you recommend pairing with these springs or will they work with what comes stock?
These work with stock shocks.
Are these lowering springs always blue, and the “not so low” variant always red?
Yes
Es compatible con el mazda 3 sedan con el motor 2.0L ????
This has never been tested on the 2.0
What is the difference from the FWD to the AWD springs?
The springs fit for both models. These will sit at different heights due to the weight of the car •FWD -the CS springs lower the vehicle approximately 1.5 inches front and 1.8 inches rear. • AWD, auto transmission, sedan the CS springs lower the vehicle approximately 1.6 inches front and 2.2 inches rear.
Just wanted to make sure, this should fit the 2024 model right.
They will fit!
I know the '24 model is still a 4th gen but I just wanted to confirm that it'll fit.
Yes these will fit your 2024
is this items supposed to compatible for mazda3 2024 right?
Yes
Is this thing fits in my 2019 mazda 3 hatchback 1.8 xd japan version?
We don't have a 1.8 here and have not been able to confirm fitment with that model.
What specifically makes these incompatible with the turbo models?
They are not incompatible, but the turbo model has a different curb weight and you would not experience the optimum ride quality and height.
Do I need to modify anything on my mazda to install them? I saw some comments about trimming the bumpers and some scraping.
They are a direct install. Any scraping will be a result of not being aware of approach angles or ground clearance.
Do these springs work with the non-turbo 2.0L engine?
We have not confirmed fitment with the 2.0 model
Will this work on a CX-30 AWD ? Any recomendation!
No, these springs are specific to the Mazda3 platform

These lowering springs are a great investment if you are looking to get better fitment on your Mazda 3. I got these and installed them before getting wheels and I love them. My car handles like it’s on rails now basically haha and it makes driving and looking at my car more enjoyable!

Spend 2 days installing this kit, so far very impressed. Im not a good driver, and i cant really notice the difference in handling, but definitely 5 stars just for the looks. Installation wasnt easy, had to hustle with the front struts, which is why I recommend getting an impact gun, because it just makes your life much easier.

I’ve always loved the lowered car look but wanted my car to still be functional as my daily driver. I was a bit hesitant to lower my Mazda3 because of this. After researching in the Facebook groups I hopped on the bandwagon and never looked back.
The instructions provided made this install easy to complete and took us a couple hours. You may hear some creaking while the springs are breaking in and settling, which is normal. After about a week, the noise had completely dissipated. I only mention this as it was my first lowered car, and I was unsure of the noise in the beginning.
These lowering springs made me fall in love with the 4th gen Mazda3’s even more. I’ve noticed increased handling since installing, and the fitment with OEM wheels is amazing.
