I just installed this today on my 2022 Mazda 3 Turbo HB. Everything went fine with the install. For some complaining about the tips being hard to put on, I say make sure the clamps are Fully Open and tips slide right on. The sound is mellow and deep. Cabin sound is minimal until you really get into the throttle. I am happy it is quiet because that means there is a mid-pipe in my future.

Awesome quality axle back exhaust for my CX 30 Turbo. Much lighter than the huge stock suitcase muffler. The Corksport axle back also doesn’t contact my trailer hitch like the stock muffler did. The tips are a breeze to put on if you use a little bit of silicone spray to help slide them on. Makes adjustments easy as well. Could not be happier with Corksports quality, packaging and shipping. A+++++++

Don’t worry about the unconventional set up of a straight pipe and a muffler, a lot of thought obviously went into that. It just what I was looking for. Quiet when you want it, and noticeable when you accelerate. Not your little racer civic sounding. Easy to install. Be careful with removing the factory muffler though there are lots of places to cut yourself on (I know) it was also harder than expected to install the tips, one may need a rubber mallet.

Beautiful welds, Great packaging, simple install I had it professionally done and it was amazing. Sounds Great at low rpms and simply divine at higher, never raspy. People on the first day said it sounds amazing. the Installers said wow this sounds so good. Great first mod.

It’s loud,deep and I keep smiling to the beautiful sound !! That’s insane for a 4cyl 2.5l non turbo !!

I am super happy with this purchase!! It is absolutely beautiful, easy to install, and sounds fantastic!!!! It is as quite as stock at cruising speed on the highway and has a nice deep sound when on the das. ZERO drone in the car at speed. Great value for the money!

Sounds hella nice (deep, basey, and a little louder than stock exhaust), but with a cat delete, it’ll sound even better/louder, the cold start is VERY loud. My car is a 2020 Mazda 3 2.5L engine FYI.

Installed the Corksport axle back for 2019+ non-turbo version on my Mazda 3 Turbo Hatchback 2021. I used it for two days with the stock resonator and now I have a resonator delete. Sound clip comparison and sound clips of this axle back on a M3TH are at the links listed. How this will help other M3TH owners waiting for the turbo version of the axle back.

I agree with the previous review that this exhaust is easy to install. I have the CX30 Turbo, and also did the installation without lifting the car. The instructions are clear and well illustrated, although you do need a 15mm socket and/or wrench to attach the tips. The nut is 14mm and the bolt-head is 15mm. That said, the tips were the most time-consuming part with lining them up and then attaching them firmly to the pipe.
It sounds great. On a cold start it's a loud-ish baritone (but not in any way obnoxious) that settles down quickly with the idle. On the road there is a mellow growl in the cabin while accelerating, and then it is almost as quiet as the stock exhaust while cruising. I admit that I had my doubts about the design with a silencer on only one side and straight pipe on the other, but it works! It looks good too, which is a plus. Nice job Corksport!
