This steering wheel has an incredible feel, your hands just sit perfectly in it. We have one also on our 2018 Mazda 3, and we cant wait for the 4th gen wheel! This product completely changes the driving experience!
Finally pulled the trigger on this, with the Alcantara inserts, and let me tell you, this is one helluva nice wheel. My original on had started to disintegrate, getting sticky and looking pretty gross. I tried to clean the original, and ended up just having to put one of those awful steering wheel covers on it just to be able to drive. That night, I ordered this wheel.

Installation was very straightforward. It took me maybe 20 minutes, just reading the instructions off of my phone. Nothing too complicated at all, just pay attention and don't skip disconnecting your battery.

What a world of a difference this wheel makes. It's a whole new connection to the car. Along with the weighted shift knob, new shifter bushings, and short-throw shifter kit, she feels like a brand-new car!

I'm not sure about the layout of the grips just yet, the lobes are at 10 and 2, and I'm solidly in the 9-and-3 camp, though the wheel feels good there, too. The Alcantara is a worthwhile upgrade, if you can stomach the additional $60. Feels so nice when cruising on the freeway, and when the wheel is sliding through your hands when coming out of a casual turn.

$460 is a lot of money, but in this case, it is absolutely worth it. The quality of materials, build, and design are all top-notch.

The "added room at the bottom of the wheel for knee movement" is patently false, though. It's literally physically impossible But it looks cool as hell, and the straight sections are a nice change-up from the all-round OEM wheel.
I completely under-estimated the benefit of a new wheel. Incredible quality and very affordable. I can't prove this, but pretty sure it also adds 10hp (feels like it at least).
Perfect in every way. Super easy install, you will thank your past self.
This steering wheel is absolutely bad a$$! Install was a breeze, took maybe an hour at a chill pace. First off the looks puts the stock wheel to shame. Second the ergonomics, the grip, the feel and the quality will blow you away. Completely enhances the driving experience like you wouldn't believe! Stop thinking about it and buy this wheel, truly a must buy for all owners! Thank you CS!!!
The installation guide is fantastic and the process is straight-forward. I think it is nearly impossible *not* to break the horn harness clip on the airbag module when removing it. I replaced it with a neatly trimmed zip tie.

Initial impressions...I like the thicker cross section, and the quality materials make driving feel more 'special' than the OEM wheel. Square bottom removes any possibility of thigh bumping upon entry or footwork impediments while driving.

There are a few key differences from the OEM wheel that warrant mentioning:
1) It is less comfortable to twirl the wheel with the heel of my palm while parking, mostly I think due to the flat bottom. I used to palm the wheel at the bottom edge, but now that doesn't work very well. Trying out a two-hand push-grab method, but it is a lot slower.
2) There are no finger grooves on backside of wheel. Not a complaint, just makes the wheel feel different.
3) There is no groove for my fingertips on the back of the 9 and 3 o’clock spokes, which was my favorite grip position while cruising.
4) I am not a huge fan of the 10 and 2 o’clock meaty-grip positions, but they are growing on me.
5) The CS wheel is so thick that I cannot see all of the turn signal indicators in my preferred driving position. I adjusted the wheel position to compensate.

But these are just observations which result from changing the one thing you use in a car 100% of the time. A great product, and highly recommended.
First of all I want to say thank you to Brett for giving those words of encouragement. You didn't have to do that but I'm very appreciative you did. I am an Army National Guard veteran and the past 3 months have been really hard to deal with emotionally and physically. Thank you Brett for your caring words. Now for the wheel, the wheel is definitely a huge improvement in difference and feel and adds more "sport" to the drive overall. I like the 9 and 3 grips and holding the wheel in cruising mode (8 and 4) feels really good too. Only thing I have to say that might be considered negative is the wheel looks slightly bigger than the stock wheel and I was thinking that the wheel might be a tad smaller in diameter before purchasing. Also, this maybe my eyes playing tricks on me but it looks like the left bottom side of the wheel looks slightly rounder than the right bottom side. The right bottom side looks more angled aggressively down. Like I said, maybe it's just me. Anyways, thanks again Corksport for providing quality products.
Just installed. Great product, but a couple things to watch out for. Go slow removing the black retention clip that is on the wire with the white connector on the back of the airbag. Also one of the “2 screws with a different thread pattern”, that secure the buttons, did not have any threading in the new casting, the other side was fine.
I was looking at buying this for some time but put it off because I thought it was too pricey. I then started looking at a new car, but decided it was way too expensive so instead I thought I would try and modernize my 2010 speed. The wheel definitely makes the car feel newer. The width and feel of the wheel is sweet. Install took me a hour. I took my time and made sure not to snap or break anything. It helps having smaller hands. Yes I would recommend.
I agree with last two reviewers (Ricky & Pastor Dave)....why did i wait so long to get this ...and why does everything I buy from CS seem better than the last thing I bought? This steering wheel seems to hit right where my hands want to go and should be in every Mazda sold.
