Anti-Aeration:

Like OEM, the CorkSport Mazdaspeed Aluminum Power Steering Reservoir uses internal drop tubes for the inlet and outlet tubes to reduce the chance of aeration in the fluid. Aeration of the fluid needs to be avoided as it can cause intermittent loss of power steering and cause damage to the internal components of the power steering system.

Materials and Manufacturing:

Much like our Coolant Reservoirs, each Power Steering tank is laser cut from 11-gauge aluminum, then TIG welded for the best appearance and strength. The tank is then powder-coated wrinkle-black for the cleanest finish in your engine bay. Once the tanks are assembled and fully welded, we pressure test every tank to ensure your new reservoir is free of leaks!

The Aluminum Reservoir(s) will be hot after normal engine operation.
Use caution when working in the engine bay shortly after running your vehicle to avoid injury.
Follow the system bleeding instructions thoroughly for proper system functionality after installation

My Corksport PS tank came well packaged and looks awesome! I love the black wrinkle finish and it matches the Corksport coolant reservoir I have on my car already. The pair of them is definitely the best mods I've done so far to improve the appearance of my engine bay.

Installation is super easy and I think I knocked it out in under 15 minutes. Follow the instructions and definitely put some towels or something down to catch any fluid you may lose while swapping the tanks out. It can get messy quick but if you do it correctly its a breeze.
