Mazdaspeed Performance Turbo Inlet Intake Pipe Upgrade

Constructed from 60mm mandrel-bent aluminum with smooth sweeping curves for optimal flow, the CorkSport Mazdaspeed turbo inlet pipe provides a 14% improvement in flow over the restrictive stock turbo inlet pipe.

The CorkSport Advantage:

  • 60mm Mandrel bent aluminum piping: A true high-performance turbocharger inlet pipe that is made from aluminum piping unlike other silicone turbo inlet pipes on the market
  • Avoid unwanted check engine lights: Designed with a downstream recirculation valve fitting to prevent turbulence backwash around the MAF sensor and avoid unnecessary check engine lights and stumbling
  • Customize your engine bay:Offered in polished aluminum or powder-coated black with blue, red or black silicone to enhance the look of your engine bay.
  • 14% improvement in flow: Replace the restrictive shape of the OEM inlet pipe to improve and smooth airflow resulting in improved boost levels.
  • Compatible: Has been re-designed to fit seamlessly with the OEM intake as well as most aftermarket intakes.
  • Offered With or Without Breather Hose: Optional crankcase breather hose available for turbo vehicles affected by Mazda Service Bulletin #01-002/11 that received a factory fix for turbo smoking due to insufficient crankcase ventilation. This only applies to 2007-2009 Mazdaspeed 3 and CX7 built before July 2008. Click Here to see the whole TSB from Mazda. Page 3 shows a diagram on what to look for to see if your vehicle has had the TSB.
  • CorkSport Service and Support: Receive a two-year limited warranty, full-color installation instructions, all of the needed installation hardware, and knowledgeable telephone support

WARNING:The TIP does not work well with the Injen CAI. Requires custom bracket work to fit properly.

Installation Mazdaspeed Turbo Inlet Pipe

Easy sell....

-The factory TIP is a joke.

-CS knows how to get the best performance out of your Mazda. -This TIP is not joke.

-Looks and sounds sexy.
I have a 2010 Speed3 with an Injen CAI, will your turbo inlet pipe work for me? ( no other mods done yet)

anything else I need?
Dear Corksport team,

I have a 09 MS3 with a K&N typhoon air intake system. I would like to install your turbo inlet pipe. Is it fully compatible with my K&N. As I didn't buy it new, I have no idea regarding a service bulletin from Mazda. Do you know if European MS3 had this service bulletin?

Best regards.

Pierre
After seeing what Mazda designed as a TIP, which is laughable, this is a welcome addition to my engine and had I known thats how restrictive the stock unit was, I would've done this much sooner (maybe add a pic of the OEM unit to your site).

Quite a noticeable difference in all gears but definitely in 4th going up to 5th when merging onto highways. Still adjusting to the throttle sensitivity in that aspect as the car moves to say the least. You cant beat the price and even as a Canadian, free shipping within the US still works for me.

Overall, another winner from CS. Thanks!
On my 2012 mazdaspeed 3 will i need to use the tsb pipe or just the standard thank you for your time
i have a 06 speed6 with a aem cold air intake. will the inlet pipe work with that? and will i get everything i need with it?
I have a Mazdaspeed6 with a CAI and this TIP was a great improvement over the stock TIP. It is a little difficult to install but with the detailed instructions, it made installation lot easier. Great product Corksport!
I have a 2012 MS3 with a corksport stage 3 CAI...will I be ok installing the turbo inlet pipe? Or do I need to add/remove additional parts?

CorkSport Reply:The TIP will include everything you need.
Corksport,

I have a mazdaspeed 3 with CB-E & CAI could I install the Turbo Inlet pipe before upgrading my Fuel Pump Internals?

CorkSport Reply:Give us a call, 360-260-2675
How do I know if I need the turbo inlet with the fix or not I'm in sa unable to phone abroad

thanks in advance

CorkSport Reply:Look in the product listing above at the link to the Mazda TSB. Page 3 shows the difference.

Asked by Cody | 11/14/2015, 09:23 PM | 1 answer(s)

I was considering between this and the Cobb tuning TIP as I have a Cobb accessport. The accessport only notes "approved" intakes but it really doesn't say anything about TIP/TIH , TMIC, Exhausts etc. The Cobb tuning TIP is significantly more expensive than your product. That being said, is there a difference in air flow or do your products perform the same? Also is there any additional installation needed if I currently have the mazdaspeed CAI installed on my vehicle?
