My dad and I installed two of these back to back, one in a 07 MS3 and one in a '13 MS3 (funny, its the beginning and the end), the first one took an hour out of caution, the second one was half the time and both cars run great. But really, the best part isn't the fact that the part is extremely well made and feels bulletproof, it's the box it comes in. That is one hell of a box. Seriously kudos to whoever's idea that box was. I don't know what I'll do with it but I'm glad I have it.
One of the few first upgrades I did. I wanted this to be one of the first mods as I didn't want to worry about future upgrades and the benefits over the stock HPFP had me sold. The only downside is it is much easier to justify buying more parts since this essential install was done about 8 months ago. Can't complain, I love my Mazda!
Just installed my hpfp and I didnā€™t think I would feel as much as a difference as I did. I am so glad i listened to all the speed3 forums. Getting 1800+ psi
Don't know what to say, work flawlessly. Easy to install and I am hitting close to 2100psi now.
Make sure to clean out all the crud from the housings. Be careful not to let dust/dirt drop in the pump housing on the car. As soon as I started removing the pump, about a 1/16" out I could see dirt wanting to drop in. I stopped, pushed it back in and applied a little oil to stick the dirt down and stop it from falling in. Then I removed the pump and cleaned up the dirt.
The install was not horribly difficult. Getting the high pressure line disconnected from the bottom of the pump was the hardest part due to the small amount of room available. I would suggest buying a set of stubby wrenches. The tappet isn't as easy to set as the video shows. I had to use more force to get it seating. I did use a screw driver handle but had to give the opposite end a few love taps with a hammer(not too hard). Reinstalling the pump went well once I figured out it was easiest to run the pump bolts down about 3/4 of the way then reconnect the high pressure line. I wasn't able to connect the line once the pump was bolted in all the way. I will only rate the internals 3 stars for now just because I haven't had a chance to beat on my car yet, but the internals themselves look like they were made with good materials and are nicely machined. I will come back and rerate once I have driven a few miles. On a second note, having made several purchases already, everything I have purchased from Corksport seems to be very good quality.
This definitely took a little longer to install them I thought but the results are incredible. The car runs much smoother, power kicks in quicker and is well distributed across the RPM's. Noticeable increase in power and now I have the piece of mind of finally having this and knowing that my car is ready for the big bad downpipe. Stop wondering if you should buy this and just do it! It's worth it and you need CORKSPORTS version which is the absolute best! Thank you Corksport!
These internals are just as good, if not better than the popular Autotech and come with easy to read and follow instructions. Great pressure at WOT and I'm completely confident in this part. They sold out when I ordered mine and I was worried I wouldn't get them in time for dyno day at the local Mazda shop. I emailed Brett and told him this, and he reassured me they would make it in time. A few days later I get an email with the shipping tracker, and they had upgraded my shipping to priority at no extra charge. Amazing customer service, I will continue to spend all my money at Corksport! Thank you guys!
a bit expensive especially for how small the parts are, but feels so much more smoother and responsive saw a max fuel pressure of 2059psi on my access port, max i hit before was 1857psi , took me a hour and 15 to do it and clean out the crap from the pump put a clean oil film on everything and went together smooth
If you plan on modding your engine in any way, even if it's only a Stage 1 CAI, I recommend purchasing CorkSport's fuel pump internals. They are the gold standard and cheap insurance.

I've got 10k miles on mine with no issues and I have the confidence of knowing I can supply 1800+psi at WOT all day long.

The install was easy with two caveats:

1) A giant bench vise and breaker bar are very helpful.

2) On my car (2006 MS6), during removal, I could not get the fuel pump to clear the bottom fuel line no matter how hard I tried. I ended up finding a clamp securing the line to the engine block that needed to be loosened allowing me to lower the line a little so the fitting on the bottom of the fuel pump would clear. We're talking less than a millimeter here, but it would not come out for me without this step.

Finally, FWIW, I noticed zero noise difference between the OEM and CS internals.

As always, great job CorkSport!

Worth the price buy over all other brands. I had an autotech already installed not my choice obviously. I can speak first hand that corksport is better I logged a 4th gear pull WOT with the autotech results were 1,856 psi in the fuel rail. I ran the same test with corksport and the results were a peak of 2,001 psi in the fuel rail. Corksport internals hands down have a higher flow and send more fuel to the engine. This means more power and safer to run higher boost levels.

I installed this on my 11 Mazdaspeed3 and for some reason the car goes now rich, STFT is always -7 to -12.50, Replaced Maf, inspected MAf wiring, claps, TB gasket replaced, replaced TMIC with CS TMIC, stock intake/Inlet tried Silicone Inlet+ Custom Intake. When i removed and installed the OEM one values were back to normal, does this need any kind of tune?

Just purchased a 2010 Mazdaspeed3 with 135,000 miles on it. The car came with a Cobb SRI, but everything else is stock. The next step is to install high pressure fuel pump internals. Will replacing the internals on a high mileage car be fine with the existing fuel pump or should I replace the whole fuel pump and place the high flow internals in a new high pressure fuel pump?

My HPFP makes a loud clicking at the lightest touch of throttle between 2000-3000rpm. I've had CS internals in the hpfp for about 4 years. I replaced the fuel relief valve and even put in new CS HPFP internals and the problem persists. Does anyone on your team know the issue I'm experiencing and how to resolve it?

Hello, I installed the corksport internal in a brand new hitachi pump in my gti mk5 fsi engine 2008. The stock pump works perfectly fine, however with the corksport internals the car would have difficulty to start, like if the pump is not primed, and when the car does start the ecu throw the code p2293 Fuel Pressure Regulator 2 Performance code, and the car appears to be a limp mode. No boost no power. Apparently the car is experiencing fuel starvation. When I put back the stock internal in the pump, everything is normal. Any suggestion? Should I try with the stock spring?
