Got this steering wheel about a year ago i think. Very nice piece feels so much better then the oem wheel. Looks great gives the interior the look of a more expensive car. No signs of wear at all. Just buy it you want regret it, the price point is great to.

Really enjoying it after a few months using it. It’s holding up very well. Only thing I would change would be to have an option to get a suede like material. Other than that this is a great buy and I would definitely recommend it over the stock steering wheel.

Man this is an awesome wheel. Was a little expensive for my taste at first but after reading all the reviews I decided I would give it a try. I'm so happy I did it feels so much nicer than the stock one. The added thickness is what I wanted the most and its perfect. Feels great and looks great I would buy again in a heartbeat. I have had many Sparco wheels and I love them but to have an option to keep the airbag and have a wheel like this simply can't be beat. If your on the fence just get it and love it.

One of my best MODS for my speed3! Consider this if you are bored with your stock steering wheel, this is your go to wheel! I love the hand grip on and feeling of the wheel itself! I'm enjoying my cruising every time I hold on to this wheel! Should have done it years ago! Love it!

Love the wheel after having it installed for a few weeks. Was iffy on the price before ordering, but no regrets at all now that it's in the car -- worth every penny. The leather feels far superior to the stock wheel (which felt plastic-y to me) and the increased gripping surface is fantastic for my longer fingers. The thumb grips are a nice touch but, more than anything, the larger nodules just above them are excellent for gripping and letting you know right where your hands are on the wheel. The flattened section on the bottom doesn't necessarily look like a huge difference in the comparison photos, but it really does increase knee clearance a noticeable amount. The stitching looks fantastic and there are no visible blemishs or defects anywhere on the wheel. Install was quite easy, just be careful to not overtorque the bolts behind the airbag/horn assembly (the ones with the springs). A+ product; the genpu guys have every right to be jealous until their edition is released.

Install was seemless and this thing is really, really cool! I am going to give a very good compliment on this new product: my Sunday car is a 2009 GT-R and your new steering wheel feels better, hah! It only took 25 minutes, easy.

For the most part I'm pleased with this purchase. It installed without issue on my 2008 Mazda 3 hatchback and the instructions were pretty much right on. It took me around an hour or so but that is with plenty of interruptions and a real lack of efficiency on my part. If you lay out all the mentioned tools before you start you should approach the 30 minute mark I'd think. Note that I’m not certain the bolts holding the airbag mount use a T40 bit – at least it seemed awfully loose for me. It got the job done so it’s not a big deal, it might have just been the cheap(ish) bit I was using.
The fit and finish of the CS wheel itself is quite nice. It feels good in my hands regardless of where I’m holding the wheel - the CS engineers/designers clearly put some good thought into it. The original controls didn't quite line up perfectly, but I never checked how they fit on the old wheel so it is entirely possible they fit exactly the same. Either way, the gap is on the backside/top of the wheel and really can’t be seen once it is actually mounted to the column.
The reason I dock a star is because I ordered the "all black" version and it appears that my interpretation of an “all black” steering wheel doesn't exist at this time (except the OEM one, of course). What I didn't realize when ordering was the "all black" version still has red stitching. I went back through the main page and didn't see any mention of that, though I can find a few pictures where red stitching is used with black inserts…now that I’m looking for it. I think it is an unfortunate decision to not use black stitching when using the black inserts.
All in all, I think this is probably worth the money, especially if you like one of the color schemes. Just be aware that a truly clean, minimalist look is not available at this time.
Hi ! I live on France and ...2 questions : does it fit on a Mazda 3 Mps 07 LHD (french) ? And the other question ... Can you tell me if in the near futur you mat have some reductions for the black/blue stitching model ? Thanks A lot!

Yes it will fit a LHD/RHD models. When the black with blue stitching sells out it will no longer be available.
Is your team investing in a gen.2 wheel swap? If so, any eta? Have been looking into wraps and have my eye on an autoexe but would hold off if anything like the gen.1 wheel swap just offered for purchase. Thanks!

We are looking at developing the 2nd gen model currently.
I would love to have this wheel, I've been anticipating buying it ever since you announced it several months ago.
But I fail to see why it costs $350 considering I have to use my own center piece and airbag. Please enlighten me.
