Get maximum turbo performance and dramatically increase torque with the Mazdaspeed 3 Power Series Downpipe. The CorkSport Mazdaspeed3 downpipe was expertly designed to replace the restrictive element in the Mazdaspeed 3 stock downpipe
Pick the 65mm flange for stock fitment (it will also work with all aftermarket exhausts), or 80mm flange for the CorkSport Cat Back exhaust and true 3" piping. Either way, mandrel bent piping is used to create smooth exhaust flow for dramatic increases in power.
With just an intake installed, you can gain up to 50 HP more by adding the long catted downpipe or short downpipe and race pipe.
Replaces just the downpipe section but not the racepipe for a cost-effective solution that works with the stock racepipe, or aftermarket. For lasting corrosion resistance and reduced heat transfer to the engine bay, the CorkSport MS3 downpipe uses polished 304 stainless steel and features TIG welds that offer superior arc and weld puddle control for a cleaner appearance and precise weld bead control
Our long downpipes now use our new “modular” system to improve flow, enhance fitment, and simplify installation in your MS3 engine bay. The design utilizes a cast stainless steel bellmouth with a v-band connection to 3” stainless steel piping. A 300 CEL high-flow cat is included to help keep emissions in check with minimal drawbacks. The long downpipe replaces both the OEM downpipe and racepipe sections.
It will take you Approx. 5 hours to install.

Hello can we use with stock k04? Or it’s better if we let the 1st cata and we remove the second ?
The downpipe is compatible with the K04
I have a 2009 'Speed3-Will the short pipe (downpipe only) trigger a CEL? Will I require a tune after installing it? Plan on using stock racepipe (has stock cat). Will I be required to use aftermarket hpfp? Thanks for the help.
We always recommend upgrading the HPFP on any car if it is still using the OEM components. The short pipe version should not trigger a CEL, but you will need a tune.
Is it a good idea to heatwrap the downpipe before installing?
You can, but it is not necessary.
I'm having a hard time visualizing the size and shape of 5-bolt flanges. Would this fit on a GT2860RS?
We have not fit it to that turbo, and can't confirm that it would.
What'll it take to fit one of these on a gen 2 mazdaslow 3 i?
That is not a compatible part. If you are looking for a full exhaust, this is what you need (we recommend adding the racepipe ;) ) : https://corksport.com/mazda-3-2010-2013-exhaust-system-mazda-3-2.0-liter-standard-and-skyactiv-engine.html
Does the long pipe have 2 cats on it? You mention it comes with your race pipe but I see the flexible mesh which isn't on the race pipe I found on your website. I only really want a catted downpipe and a cattless race pipe. Thanks!
The long pipe is a single cat set up. The flexible mesh is to ease installation.
Will the Divorced catted downpipe fit a cst4?
Yes it will
I need a new downpipe for my 2008 Mazdaspeed 3 the one currently in my car is beginning to fail. Which should I get if all I need is the downpipe it self?
It all depends on what's in the car currently. Shoot us an email with more details and we will be happy to help.
Will the 60mm catted downpipe work with cobb catback exhaust for gen 2 mazdaspeed or I need to get the 80mm.
If it works with the OEM Downpipe then it would work with the 60mm or the 80mm.
Will the 80mm long down pipe fit onto the oem exhaust?
Yes you can but there is very little room for install error or you will get an exhaust leak.
For anyone reading this I managed to make it work with ease! No exhaust leaks at all.
Does this Downpipe fit both the BL and BK models?
It fits both.
I have a corksport catback exhaust and now i want a long catted downpipe I was wondering what size flange should I get 65mm or 80mm?
Get the 80mm version.
Hello. I have a cp-e triton catback exhaust system and was wondering what size flange I would need to mate the corksport long catted downpipe to it. The 65mm or the 80mm?
Looking at the pictures CPE has posted the 80mm SHOULD work.
If I run the BNR S4 V3 with this downpipe, is it possible that I see any issues with the wastegate flapper making contact with any part of the downpipe? I've seen very mixed things online and can't find consensus anywhere.
We have had a few local customers use our downpipe with the BNR with good success.
I want to get the long down pipe with the high flow cat, but I fant afford the CBE right now. What do I need to hook it up to the stock exhaust on the gen 2?
You can run the stock fitment downpipe with your stock exhaust.
Would it be safe to run the catted downpipe, fuel pump internals, and FMIC that I purchase from you guys without a tune? Or do I need a tune if I am only looking to upgrade these components?
Hello! I currently have the COBB Catback Exhaust but once i found you guys I have pretty much been a Corksport only fan, my question is will your downpipe work okay with the COBB catback?
It should be fine is their catback works with a donut gasket
Will the long catted downpipe bolt up to a CNT cat back exhaust?
The length should be fine, however, I am unsure to which style of flange the CNT has. If it uses a donut gasket then it should not be problematic.
I recently purchased the hatless downpipes and racepipe that bolts onto the stock exhaust my question is how many exhaust donuts do I need to order. I know I need one donut for my racepipe but on your instructions for the downpipes it says I need to purchase 2 but don't see were the second one goes only were the first one goes witch is attache to the end of the downpipe.
You will have one for where the race pipe connects to the cat back, and one where upper downpipe connects to the race pipe.
Since I am using the stock catback exhaust and am getting the 65mm downpipe if I were to purchase the corksport catback at a later date would I have to repurchase the downpipe or will the 65mm one still bolt up to the corksport catback exhaust?
It will still bolt up. But, it will be wide, skinny, then wide again. If you ever plan to run a full catback exhaust you should just get the 80mm now.
Is there a significance in power between the 65mm long catted and 80mm long catted? Will the 80mm bolt fine with the stock cbe?
We rec. the 65MM. You can probably make the 80MM work if you plan to get a CBE and want to avoid buying a second Downpipe.
Hi, i have a full stock exaust can i juste change the SHORT downpipe only ? Does The SHORT downpipe can be fixed with à STOCK ricepipe ? Thx for your answer
No it cannot.
I plan on purchasing this high flow catted downpipe for my car but im worried about the exhaust smells might be annoying. When I bought the racepipe, didn't notice no exhaust smell but I mean none but since this dp replaces a high cell cat with a low cell cat, that's why my concern.
Hi, On your short Downpipe for mazdaspeed 3 2007, how many 02 sensors has got your short downpipe ??
There are 2.
and does the SHORT downpipe fitment is in 76 or 65mm?
Which would i need with the Ultimate Racing Catback exhaust, the 65mm or 80mm?
80mm.
Does it require a tune if I run your high-flow cat? I have your stage II full intake and fuel pump internals.
It does not REQUIRE a tune, but we highly recommend getting a custom tune.
I'm looking to go stage 2. How much power will I lose by mounting this to stock exhaust instead of a full exhaust. I would be using the catted option
You will not lose any power. You should see a major gain with a downpipe installed.
Good morning CS. I have 2 questions. I currently have a Cobb SS 3" Catback installed on my Gen 2 MS3. Which DP do I need. The 65mm or the 80mm fitment. And second, do you currently have the one that I would need in stock? The last time I ordered a Catback and it was on back order for 3 months. Thanks guys.
The COBB catback necks down at the catalyst connection so you want the 65mm version. It will be ~3 weeks until we have more of the stock fitment racepipes ready to ship out.
I currently livehave the long catted downpipe on my 2008 gen. I just bought a 2010 gen2 can i use my old downpipe on my new car? Thanks again great part.
Yes you can.
Where do you get your ots maps for the accessport?
The only OTS maps we offer on our website located in the fuel pump internals section. We also only offer stage 2 maps, so you are required to have a downpipe to use those maps.
im interested in the down pipe for my ms3 but my only thing that is holding me back is if will it pass maryland emissions? i have looked around if anyone around had passed but never got a straight answer.
You are going to want to order a downpipe that has a high flow catalyst in order to pass emissions.
Would the non catted downpipe fit the 80mm if I soon bought the race pipe and mid pipe
The non-catted downpipe will fit the racepipe.
I'm getting the hpfp and I'm fully stock besides the ap and fuel pump. Well would I have to run a certain stage 1 map or do I go straight to the stage 2. Any map recommendations
Technically you would want to run a stage II tune with a downpipe, but you are stock intake as well. I would consider running a stage I tune until you can upgrade your intake.
Would my engine be okay with the dp of I didn't get the upgraded fuel pump
We don't recommend running an aftermarket down pipe without upgraded fuel pump internals.
How loud is the car/do you get drone on the highway when you have an intake, fuel pump, and the long down pipe installed? It is my understanding that the CBE would mostly change the loudness Thanks, Eric
What exhaust would you be using?
I would be using the stock cbe. Thanks, Eric
The exhaust would be louder overall in volume but the tone should stay the same and there shouldn't be much of an increase with droning.
Will this downpipe fit a GTX3582r?
It will not.
I'm interested in buying a log catted down pipe and I was wondering, will the 85mm one fit the 3" CPE cat back exhaust system?
We have not tested it with the CPE Catback, but you should be able to get it to work, it just might require some tweaking to prevent a leak. If the CPE flange is truly 80mm, then it will fit fine with our 80mm, if it is actually 65mm and then goes to 80mm then you will have more trouble.
Hey guys. On my accessport I am running a stage 1 93 tune. The map I chose from Cobb was from the corksport intake, TIP, and internals. Is there any map that would also support the down pipe to get the most out of it?
I would hit up the stage II maps under the model year of your speed and CorkSport intake at this link http://www.cobbtuning.com/Maps-Archives-s/70671.htm#/v/accessport/maps/mazda/mazdaspeed3/MS3-Map-Grid-Archives
I have a 2006 Mazda 3 will it still fit? Because I saw you guys had the full exhaust system but nothing separately for the 2006.
This will not fit a Mazda 3, it is only for the Mazdaspeed 3 since you would need a turbo to attach it to.
Does this downpipe line up to a gtx2867R turbo?
You can use our downpipe with a GTX2867r.
i getting the p0421 warm up catalyst efficiency below threshold any could be a bad cat?
Why don't you call us or email us so we can help you? The FAQ section is not a great place to try and troubleshoot an issue.
What size would I need to attach this to a Cobb exhaust?
The 65mm will work for sure, the 80mm should be able to work if the COBB CatBack uses an 80mm flange.
Does the short dp bolt to the first cat on the stock exhaust ?
The Short Downpipe replaces only the stock downpipe which has a single catalytic converter. It will bolt to the stock racepipe which has the second catalytic converter.
I have a 2013 speed3 and I have a ark dts catback exhaust and I was going to buy the catted down pipe and was wondering which flange size would fit. Thanks
The 65mm will work if you currently have the stock racepipe attached to the catback. The 80mm might work if the flange on the catback is an 80mm flange, but I am not familiar with the Ark DTS catback.
I bought the catted DP and hooked it up to the stock exhaust and used the factory donut... if i was to go to a 3 in cat back, do i just remove that donut gasket or do i need to buy an adapter?
If you purchase the 3" cat back it will bolt up fine to the catted downpipe you have. Going from a smaller downpipe/racepipe flange to a larger catback is usually not a problem.
Will this dp bolt to a gt3076 turbo? Says it needs a 3 "dp
We have several customers that run GT3076 turbos with our downpipe, so it would work fine.
Corksport, I have just finished my full Corksport turboback exhaust. Is there any danger to my car being that I do not yet have a Cobb accessport to monitor my engine? I already installed the Corksport fuel pump upgrade and my other mod is the Corksport SRI. I plan on getting the AP as soon as possible. Thanks!
With the pump upgrade you should be safe but to get the most from the parts get the accessport as soon as you can.
Fits:
2007-2013 Mazdaspeed 3
2007-2013 Mazdaspeed Axela
