Protege Shifter Linkage Kit, 3rd link Equipped Models

The CorkSport 3rd link kit replaces the non servicable bushings in the middle of your stock shift linkage. The OEM mazda bushings are a soft plastic and get replaced with bronze bushings removing the excess play in your shifter.

These bushings fit the 90-03 Mazda Protege, Mazdaspeed Protege, 92-97 Mx3, 90-95 Ford Escort/Escort GT.

Our kit includes detailed installation instructions, 2 bronze shifter bushings, and an OEM Mazda bolt and nut.

(2002 Protege5) Installed the shifter bushings along with the 3rd link bushing kit. The kits came with great instructions that made the installation very easy.

The end result is fantastic! My shifter is now smooth and solid.

Replaced stock Mazda bushings with these in my 96 323 BA Astina. Perfect fit and results in a much better shift. Recommend!

Your product was great. I had to do some grinding to the shift arm to get it to fit. Much tight than the stock plastic bushings.
