Take control of your boost and performance with the CorkSport Mazdaspeed Electronic Boost Control Solenoid (EBCS). Utilizing the latest technology in solenoid controlled air valves, the CorkSport EBCS outflows and out responds the competition. It builds boost faster and minimizes boost spikes and creep for your Mazdaspeed3 or Mazdaspeed6.
The CorkSport replacement EBCS features a 3-port design that has the flexibility to control all boost control setups, such as bleed and interrupt for internal wastegates and interrupt or push-pull for external wastegates.
Also, it is designed to fit in the OEM location or on top of the valve cover. It’s fitted with an OEM electrical connector for a plug and play installation. No soldering or crimping necessary!
Installation is easy! Immediately feel the difference in horsepower! Share your CorkSport experience in the Reviews section above!
The CorkSport EBCS can be used with all wastegate setups, including internal wastegate, bleed (OEM) and interruption, and external wastegate.
The manifold is made with 6061-T6 billet aluminum and finished with black anodizing for high strength and great looks. It’s threaded for 1/8 NPT or AN fittings.
The CorkSport EBCS does require the use of an aftermarket tune and access port. Due to the increased efficiency of the CorkSport EBCS, you CANNOT install the EBCS without making tuning corrections. Over boosting will occur.
It will take you 1 hour to install your solenoid with our instructions.

I AM installing a new CST4 turbo, catless down pipe, FMIC, and one step cooler spark plugs. I have a prior COBB AP that I am running OTS maps. Can I install the EBCS on interrupt or do I run on bleed? I don’t have a pro tuner in my area sadly!
An OTS map will cause engine failure. We recommend working with an e-tuner such as Drama Tuned.
Can i run this on a cobb ots map with adjusted waste gate duty cycle?
The Cobb OTS Maps are only meant to work with the OEM controller. We recommend a pro-tune
Hello, a small questions about connection of this EBCS. In CS documents is: COM port: WG actuator N.O. port: Boost from turbocharger N.C. port: Inlet pipe But the other products (Cobb, Grimmspeed etc.) have: COM port: Boost from turbocharger N.O. port: WG actuator N.C. port: Inlet pipe What is a difference between this connections a which of them is better? Thank you
They all achieve the same results no matter which. Ours seems to behave a bit faster in our research. But I think the nicest thing about ours is the billet body and the ability to mount it in many places and have it look really nice.
Description says tune required; will I be able to run this on bleed mode with the stock K04 running a Stage 2 Cobb OTS map to prevent it from overboosting?
An OTS map will not work for this, you will need to have a custom tune. If you are having an over boosting issue, then something mechanical probably needs to be adjusted or fixed.
I'm intending to buy this and your turbo at the same time; with that setup, can I run interrupt mode?
Yes you can!
Where can I purchase more of the silicon tubing that came with this kit. There is not quite enough to route it properly with what is provided?
Sorry for the delayed response. If you need more hose you can call us at 360 260 2675 and we can assist. Depending on where you mount it, however, you should have plenty of line.
This is what I have in my MSP6, (Cobb AccessPORT ECU Programmer stage 2, CorkSport Oil Catch Can Kit, CorkSport front mounting intercooler kit, Autotech high pressure fuel pump upgrade, GReddy Type RS Blow Off Valves, 3″ Stainless catless downpipe , 3” pipe and 3” high flow cat with 93 gas octane) with my setup, do I install the CorkSport EBCS with bleed type setup or interrupt type setup?
Bleed mode with stock snail.

bleed mode on stock turbo.
I have in my Masdasped6 a Cobb AccessPORT ECU Programmer stage 2, CorkSport Oil Catch Can Kit, CorkSport front mounting intercooler kit, Autotech high pressure fuel pump upgrade, GReddy Type RS Blow Off Valves, 3" Stainless catless downpipe , a 3'' high flow cat and pipes with 2 dynomax vt muffler with 3'' exhaust, with this set up How it is supposed to install the CorkSport EBCS, Bleed Setup or Interrupt Setup
Stock turbo needs to be ran in bleed mode.
I just purchase this item and was wondering if it came with any new hoses or what I have to reuse the stock ones?
The kit will come with new black silicon hoses.
Will I still need to get a custom tune if I am using it in 2 port mode?
Yes you will!
Do you happen to have Cobb ATR guides/examples on how to tune this beautiful hunk of metal and awesomeness?
We don't have a guide, but there is a lot of great info here: http://www.mazdaspeedforums.org/forum/f628/
Is there any option to use this in two-port mode?
Yes it will, check out the installation instructions on how to set it up.
