Great exhaust! I really like the tone of it, it is much deeper than what I expected. The sound inside of the cabin is increased significantly, but if you're buying this you too probably appreciate that sound. One downside to the exhaust is the tone when you start it up with a cold engine. It very loud and drones a bit. If you park your car in a garage it only amplifies the problem. I probably wouldn't have noticed it as much had my wife not pointed it out. It is loud enough that it can be heard throughout our 1.5 story house in the morning when I start it. Install was very easy and I couldn't believe the size and weight of the factory exhaust that it replaced. If I had to guess it is probably a 25% or more weight reduction from the factory exhaust. Overall a very good product though.

If you are looking for a super loud exhaust this is not the one for you, but it does have a very nice deep grumble and you can clearly hear it from inside the cabin. Wasn't too difficult to install and instructions were very clear, great product overall.

Installation was simple, along with easy to read instructions; made this an easy upgrade. The exhaust note is deep and throaty while adding more volume. Cabin volume raises as well but it doesn't drone and at cruising speeds the volume dissipates, but when you give it gas especially at lower RPM'S like 3K it sounds mean and sinister. This also lighter then factory exhaust! over all quality is great, the welds are consistent, and the tips fill out the cut outs on the bumper just great.
A must get if you're looking for that sporty sound in your Mazda 6

Loving my new exhaust! I agree with others that the tone is much deeper than expected, which is a good thing. The cabin noise does increase, the exhaust can drone during acceleration and really increases on those cold mornings when the accelerated warm up system (AWS) kicks in to warm up the cats. If you are accustomed to the car being quiet this might take some getting used to for certain people. I am coming from a Speed3 with an aftermarket exhaust so it's a non issue for me. The installation was a breeze and the difference in size and weight versus stock is unreal! Construction of the CS exhaust is spot on with great craftsmanship! Another quality CS part for your Mazda.

I installed the exhaust, cold air intake and strut tower brace on my 2016 6 touring.
I wanted to enhance an already fun to drive car. The combination of the intake and exhaust has transformed the throttle response, the power and torque have increased across the entire rev range. The car is quicker by the stopwatch and not just the 'butt dyno' Not sure of the accuracy of the times that I have gotten, but I used the same app on the with the same amount of gas in similar temperature conditions and several different launching techniques and the times before were close to what all of the car rags have reported and the car is definitely quicker now.
Plus it sounds awesome. There is a little bit more rumble when driving in normal conditions, but under heavy throttle, the sound is deep and just loud enough. It does NOT sound like a kazoo as so many other exhaust systems on 4 cylinders cars do.
Additionally, the strut tower brace helps make the car resist understeer and makes the platform feel more solid than it already was.
Next will be the sway bar for the rear..
This car is a blast. Thank you Corksport for quality parts. Thank you Mazda for making a fun competitor in this segment.

The axelback was the perfect choice for me because I wanted a conservative exhaust while still making the exhaust note more prominent. Cabin noise has increased, but it is an enjoyable increase and makes you feel more engaged while driving. The installation was definitely pretty easy and should take only about 45-60 minutes.

I just installed the Axelback exhaust for my 2017 Mazda 6 Manual. If you are looking for something that you can hear a mile away, this isn't the exhaust for you (or maybe try the Catback). One word that I can describe the sound is "smooth". It is not very loud inside but you definitely hear the deep tones. This exhaust is for people that want a more sporty sound but keeping it classy at the same time.
