only 3 stars.
the quality is good, but for the people who have bought camber plate, the strut bar is close, so you always have to take off the strut bar to tune camber

Meh. It's ok. From Canada with shipping fees the quality of the bar is never worth the price.
The finish is bad and the.0.49$ sticker on it was not even applied straight. The Polish was scratched all the way from bad storage at corksport and badly uneven. A dent was already on it. And who ever says that it makes a huge difference on a skyactiv is only a placebo effect. Rear sway bar (that's a real upgrade & then front sway bar should be done first.
Only reason I give 2 star is because I like corksport and the staff are real awesome people.

I installed the strut bar on my 2013 mazda3 sedan, easy install. I noticed a big difference right away. Big improvement on sharp curves and ramps. And it looks great on my skyactiv.this is a great buy and worth every penny.

Just installed this on my 07 GT Sedan, few good things and a few bad. First the good: Makes the engine bay look nicer, and I definitely noticed a change when going over bumps in the pavement, front end feels more solid and well put together, havn't tried excessive cornering yet as it's raining hard here so I can't speak to that, the welds look very well done also.
The bad: Mine came with a few dents in the strut bar, and the polish job was deplorable, one of the worst I've seen in awhile on aluminium, parts of it were shinier than others, and many scratches some pretty deep were left behind. Also the installation makes no mention of removing the factory strut tower plates, and makes it seem like you just drop the bar on, so that's what I did, checked clearance and it seemed okay, upon closing the hood, it bent my hood about an 1/8th of an inch upward on the passenger side toward the rear of the hood where it meets the fender, I was pissed to say the least, so I went back in and removed the factory plates, reattached the bar and spent a few mins readjusting the hood so it would once again fit flush on the passenger side. After doing all this the hood closes properly again.
(After doing some searching it appears that this has happened to others with the sedan, as it seems the bar was designed for the hatch and the hood has slight clearance differences with the sedan, Corksport should change the install documentation to include removal of the factory strut tower plates for sedan applications.)

Well-built, looks fantastic, worth every penny, does it's job perfectly.

Honestly I felt very little difference after the install of this bar. I believe that this has more to do with how well the car is built than the build quality of this bar.(2010 2.5 hatch with only 16K miles) The last car I had a strut bar on was a mid 90s 240sx and that was a night and day difference in terms of steering feel and mid corner kick back. The strut bar is just gorgeous to look at and the welds are very clean. Those with higher mileage cars where the subframe bushings has loosened up a bit may feel more of a difference. More under hood jewelery for me but would purchase again!

This bar works as advertised and is simple to install. You notice a huge difference in ride quality, making the ride a lot less "crashy" and much more predictable. Cornering performance is also greatly improved. Worth the price, and a great simple upgrade.
I've written a more in-depth review of this part here: http://www.onefootonthegas.com/?p=73
I no longer see the Mazdaspeed 3 variant of this.
I have a front mount intercooler with undersided piping. Can I use this for my MS3? I'm impatient and don't want to wait for a revision for the MS3 version if one ever does come out.
Also, if I upgrade to coilovers, will that affect the answer at all?
Cody, the 2010-2013 STB is available for the Mazdaspeed 3 here ---> https://corksport.com/mazdaspeed-3-front-tower-bar-2010-2013.html We have never had a STB for the 2007-2009 Mazdaspeed 3. The clearance between the TMIC and the firewall was too tight. If you are running a FMIC this listing you posted in should work if the manufacturer of the FMIC you have gave enough clearance on the turbo outlet pipe. It shouldn't matter on the coilover installation but call our sales team for specifics.

I have adjustable coilovers on my 2013 Mazda 3 i and was wondering if this bar will fit over the adjustment knob
Asked by Nick sylvester | 11/05/2018, 06:47 AM | 1 answer(s)
It will fit over the adjust but you will want to make the hole in the top of the tower bar a little bigger to make sure you can adjust the shocks still.
I Currently Own this and have had it for a few years now and i can honestly say that i LOVE it, hate working on the engine with it on but that cant be helped, time to upgrade my OEM suspension that has 135k miles on it. Main question is will this Fit on the OEM Studs with the Corksport strut/spring combo with the Camber plate as well? My concern is that there is not enough thread sticking out to be able to get a grab on it with the nut as it is now, and adding the camber plate will make it impossible to get the nut on the stud.

Yeah, It should still work without an issue.

Installed a few days ago. Ever since some 'cloking " type of noise come out from front.
I have hand tighted it about 1/4 turn pass snug. It is so basic that I have no idea what could have created this cloking. Any ideas?

I also have BC BR coilovers installed, the bolts thread just enough through the nut but I feel as if its still unsafe. can you disconnect the two black braces the are directly underneath the strut bar so that you get more bolt clearance? Or is there any other way to make it work with BC BR coilovers...
Asked by Michael Fulmer | 03/31/2015, 10:14 AM | 1 answer(s)
If the bolts from the coilovers use the OEM bolts getting longer bolts would be a good idea.
I purchased a third party strut bar for my 2.0L skyactiv. Unfortunately there is a vacuum hose above the engine cover that rubs with the strut bar and as a result, causes a lot of rattling/weird noises. Does this bar have the same problem? How can I over come it?
Asked by Anthony | 11/02/2014, 08:30 AM | 1 answer(s)
There is no contact with the engine and our bar with the 2.0 and 2.5 models.
