Materials & Design
The CorkSport Adjustable Short Shifter is designed using CAD technology, a lightweight and stronger anodized shifter body and machined from 6061-T6 aluminum.

Installation is very easy, the instructions are spot on. I had it installed in under 45 mins, and 15 mins to adjust the cables.
Shifter has handled all the beatings I've thrown at it on the street, and i look forward to using this next week at the Epic Meet at the track.
So Iāve been looking at this for a while now. I have a 2011 mazda3 2.5 and anyone that drives an m3 knows about the 1-2 gear grind. Will putting this in help or make it worse. My synchros arenāt bad at all but I donāt wanna make them go quicker. I also plan on putting the CS bushing in. Is it going to make the gear grind more often, same, or less? I donāt drive hard all the time but I donāt drive slow.

This short shifter will fit your car, and pairing it with the short shift plate will make a huge difference in shifter feel!
Will this work if you already have a short shift plate installed?
Just make sure to adjust accordingly to prevent and cable binding.

If it has a 6 Spd it should work, but I believe only the 2.5s came with the 6spd

It will not fit the 2010 Mazda 3i 2.0L.
Is the 5-speed version in development? I have JBR Short Shifter Plate, but I don't like that the sideways movement is not reduced. I assume this would reduce side to side and front to back movement?
This does reduce some side to side and some front and back movement due to being a full metal shifter. We are not planning on a 5-speed version though.
