Is this shift knob 270g or 320g? I have come across both of those numbers for the weight of this product in different places. I'm guessing one of those figures is out of date.

Hey corksport, the way your body/trim parts y'all make all look amazing and the fact that you specialize in mazdas makes your company my go to place to treat my speed3 with your goodies but I do have one recommendation with the lettering on mudflaps, floor mats, engine covers, etc. To have mazdaspeed lettering in the kind of way the 2nd gen OEM floor mats are written out with a smaller CS logo to indicate it's a corksport part above or underneath the mazdaspeed logo, if you did that to your mudflaps and engine covers/heat shields where you would mostly see mazdaspeed but still show off that it is in fact corksport would provide pleasing aesthetics, or if y'all would provide custom options for detailing on certain products to open a whole new customizable revolutionary direction to the mazda/mazdaspeed.

You should definitely make this in blue. Your aluminum shift knob comes in blue, right? Do you sell a lot of those? The Skyactiv guys would love it in blue also. To match the gauges and the blue LED backlighting on the dash screens.

I have a red-stitched shift boot, like the one in CorkSport's picture. So this shift knob is a perfect match. Also, I used to have a metal shift knob but it got damn hot in the summer and ice cold in the winter. So, I wanted to go back to leather and when I saw this, I jumped on it. Thanks CS!

Decent shift knob. Weighted great so that it's not too heavy that I'm not trying to move a log every time I throw it, but heavy enough that it glides into the next gear much easier than the stock knob. Leather and stitching are great quality.

I was a little disappointed when the threads inside are plastic. For the price, I expected metal threads. When threading it on, it bottomed out against the stop on the lever but still the knob still wanted to spin. I am not sure if there are still threads it wants to go, or if the plastic threads have started to strip. I took it back off and applied industrial strength adhesive on the threads. It has helped it a little, but it still slightly loose and shifts ever so slightly when rowing the gears. Overall, great product.

So first I'd like to say this is the third product I have purchased from Cork Sport and each of them have come fast and are high quality. I didn't think that swapping out my shifter knob would make a big difference, but it made a huge difference. Feels great in my hand and shifts are a lot smoother.

The customer service is awesome too, I received a handwritten card thanking me for my purchase and a necklace for St Patrick's day. I know that's a little cheesy but that speaks volumes for there customer service

One of the first accessories I bought, mainly because of cost, this shift knob was a harbinger of the awesome quality that was to mark every CS mod I purchased. I was surprised at the weight of the unit, but it was a snap to install and has become part of the interior of my Speed! Great accessory!

I got myself one of these knobs as well as a set of shifter bushings for my '12 Speed3 and what a night and day difference it makes! The shifter bushings made my shifts feel more direct and sharp, combine them with this knob and it's now my perfect shifter. The knob itself is very nicely weighted, it makes my shifts feel balanced and smooth. Great for daily driving and brillant when your going for it. Quality is excellent for a hand stitched piece and the CS logo embroidery looks sharp, I also appreciate the colour matching to give it a clean look that matches the Speed's interior design. Since upgrading my RMM, bushings and shifer knob on my Speed3 to Corksport parts my car has a night and day shifter feel. It's the perfect feel for my taste!

I was a little concerned when making this purchase because the ND MX5 comes stock with a 300 gram shift knob. I received the package quickly. Easy instructions and a small CorkSport sticker was included. Installation was a breeze and the red stitching matches the stock shift boot. Quality of the shift knob is excellent. Feel of this shifter in my hand is excellent and is much better than the stock "ball" shaped shifter. Because of the weight of the shift knob the feel of my shifting is not changed and in fact it feels better due to the better shape. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend this shift knob to anyone who asks me.

very nice shift knob......high quality.....feels better than oem....heavier.....gears go in smoothly......high quality leather beautiful stitching,matches great with stitching in my car....highly satisfied! if you ever need to replace oem and dont want to pay$349.....and at the same time want a better quality knob look no further...not to mention you keep $249 in your pocket to go out Friday night and treat your buddies to beers!
