2019+ Mazda 3 Aftermarket Replacement Brake Pads

2021+ Mazda 3 Turbo and 2019+ Mazda 3 front brakes now have a new outstanding pad compound option! The CorkSport Street Performance pads use a supreme organic compound formula to deliver a smooth & improved braking experience. This compound is low dust yet has reduced brake fade compared to stock pads. The pad compound is suitable for street use, autocross, and canyon carving with its better initial engagement (pad “bite”) and higher heat operating range over the stock brake pads. Pair with the matching CS Street Performance rear brake pads for optimum results!

Testing

The CorkSport Brake Pads performed well through the barrage of braking tests we performed. The pads showcased great performance and reliability on the street. These pads not only delivered impressive stopping power but also maintained a smooth, controlled feel under threshold braking. Perfect for those twisty backroads when you need your Mazda 3 brakes to perform at their best! Despite not the intended use, we also completed track testing to really push these pads. Since these are not a full track pad, they were overheated by the end of the second 20 minute HPDE session. We definitely pushed this compound past its limits on the track, so we cannot recommend them for track day use.

Materials

The CS Street Performance pads use a supreme organic compound for a great improvement over stock pads, without having to worry about excess brake dust, rotor wear, and/or noise. It’s the perfect pad for those wanting better braking without any of the drawbacks of a full on performance pad! Brake pad bite is excellent when pads are cold and will stay excellent up to brake temperatures of approximately 400-450°C. For those of you with data on the brain, the average µ is approximately 0.43-0.49. To top things off, the CS pads drop right in place of your OEM pads for a super simple install using our instructions!

Making the switch from OEM pads to Street Performance pads was a major upgrade! Not everyone can afford the BBK, so having these Street Performance pads available is awesome!

I pushed these pads pretty dang hard up in the canyons, some of my favorites like Alpine to Cascade, or Mt. Nebo Loop, East Canyon so many to name lol. I'm the type of driver that likes to push my car to some limits when it comes to canyon running, and living in Utah the options are in plenty, which some nice hairpins, sweepers to steep grades.

These pads seriously held up very very well, I was thoroughly impressed! Granted yes they got hot at times but they still held up and did their job! Brake fading did not even feel like an issue at all! Wanna push your car harder but be friendly on the pocket book? Then you need these pads!!!

These pads fit perfectly with the OEM calipers, but I do recommend having your rotors turned also that way you have fresh pads on fresh rotors to take full advantage of these pads!
