Track tested and racer approved, the CorkSport Lower Tie Bar is designed to add rigidity to the front suspension sub-frame. By connecting the inboard pivot points for the front lower control arms, the lower tie bar adds opposing strength to the sub-frame that helps reduce wheel hop and torque steer. In the opposite manner, the lower tie bar also helps improve braking performance. #ZoomZoom!

Manufactured from 1”x0.120” wall tubing and 0.190” plate bracket ends, the design is non-adjustable for simplistic strength.
Drag race testing showed improvements in both 60 foot and ¼ mile consistency. Improved predictability under hard launches.
***This only applies to 2010-2013 Mazdaspeed 3. Please view this picture to see if your Speed3 has the bracket shown with the red arrows. If it does have the bracket you will need the spacers for installation. If you do not have the bracket shown, the bar will install without the spacers.

Will this fit my Mazda 3 2006 2.3L sedan? (Not Mazdaspeed 3, regular 3, i am having a lot of wheel hop in 1st and 2nd gear launches
We have not tried one on the 04-06 models. We do know the AT cars is a no go, we are not sure on the 5 speed MT.
Would this cause a “too stiff” factor if installed along with a rear sway bar? Or is it recommend to have both, to keep wheels planted on turns and wot??
Not at all, this just ties the front suspension together and makes the shocks and struts work as intended.
does this bar improve any handling?
It will help to keep everything a bit tighter around turns due to less flexing. But, its main design is to help with the wheel hop issues.
