Silicone Boost Tube installation instructions

Installed these quiet a bit ago and i must say after all this time and pulls ive done, these tubes are magnificent. They really hold all the pressure. the turbo side tube though is a bit of a tight squeeze but maybe thats because i am on an upgraded TMIC. Either way its worth the money. had em on for about 10,000 miles so far and zero issues to report and i am tuned and on 22lbs of boost. so i am a happy customer with these
Installed these today 11/16/19 and i must say what an overall performance improvement, steady boost climb, and holds really well. The CS blue is a nice touch to the engine bay, instructions were great, the material is really strong, very little "bloating" when building or releasing boost. Must have if you still run TMIC, does not take long to install and it is much better than the OEM tubes. Thank You CS for a another great product
4 stars rather than 5 due to lack of notes/exceptions for very early models and the cost. I don't usually whine about the latter, and although the tubes are very nice, there was an ouch factor for me.

If you happen to own a 2006 or maybe 2007 MS vehicle, check what style of intercooler to throttle body pipe you have (the cast aluminum pipe coming off the intercooler outlet). Early models utilized a 90 degree bend and a straight tube between the aluminum pipe and throttle body. Later models moved the 90 degree bend to the rubber tube and used a straight aluminum pipe.

CorkSport's tube is the one with the 90 degree bend.

I decided to order the newer style cast aluminum pipe from Mazda rather than cut the CS 90 degree tube for two reasons:

1) I measured and did a stare 'n compare, and I wasn't confident there was enough of a straight section to be had from the 90 tube. It probably works, but I've been through a few rounds of boost leak testing, and you'd be amazed how connections that look and feel 100% perfect leak air.

2) The newer pipe and tube design allow for easier removal of the intercooler (no wrestling with that 90 degree pipe, just loosen the top clamp on the boost tube and pull), which is why I believe Mazda changed the design.

Finally, if you look at some schematics online and think the CX-7 intercooler to throttle body pipe will work, it won't. It looks identical and seems to fit perfectly, but the BOV location is different and it won't allow the hood to close with the BOV installed.

Hope this helps the 6 people in the world who have the old style plumbing. ;-)
Hello again Corksport today I am wondering if your boost tubes will work for my 2006 speed 6 with a HDI FMIC kit on it. I am using the stock tubes for now.
Great quality and instructions. The larger elbow required some cut to fit technique but thats easy as you just line up the OEM piece, slice and done. Also assuming thats b/c there was some slight variations in the Speed6 production years.

Overall, they do just what they're supposed to and install was easy with the instructions, even for a mechanically declined individual such as myself.
UPDATE: went from 14. to a 14.30 with this tubes and an in-airbox K&N Filter
Easier to install than the directions imply. You will definitely need a deep socket for the clamps. Look and sound great. Strong constructions holds extra boost.
This pipes look great and also helps maintain power beyond 5500 rpm. I went from 14.7 to 14.5 on the track
Installed these today perfect fit! Got them in blue love the way they spruced up the engine compartment
will these fit the upgraded tmic ?

CorkSport Reply:Yes they do.
