The Mazda 6 SRI intake adds some show and tell to your engines appearance and sound. Your choice of black, blue, and red filters and silicone provides you with a customizable look to your engine bay. Machined MAF housing for the SRI Mazda6

Precision Machined:

Every CorkSport cold air/short ram intake features a meticulously engineered billet MAF housing. The use of a billet MAF housing guarantees that the intake's diameter is identical to the OEM's diameter, providing a smooth airflow for accurate sensor readings.


SRI Silicone options in red, blue, and black

Dryflow Filter:

The CorkSport SRI uses a Dry-Flow media to ensure long-lasting performance and durability. The filter offers an inverted cone design that allows more air to enter the system from the top. The non-woven media does not require oil to filter or trap dirt and shreds it under the engine's vibration. The filter is reusable after washing, allowing it to last longer. Pair this with the SRI filter sock for a long-lasting filtration system.

Fitment:

**How to find your build date of your 2014-2021 Mazda 6. Open the drivers door and locate the vehicle identification sticker. It will look like the picture below. There will be a location which says date shown with the red arrow. That is what you need to find your build date. As you can see on the example below the Mazda was built in November 2012.


Product Advisory Note
  • No tuning required.
  • Does not work with engines equipped with the EGR Cooler located on top of the intake manifold.
  • Not confirmed to work with 2.0L engine. Use at your own risk.
  • Some early Mazda 6 production models may experience a CEL (Check Engine Light) using the Short Ram Intake. If you have an early 2019 model, you may need to get an update PCM ECU flash from your dealership to prevent this CEL.
  • Solution: With OEM components installed, schedule an appointment with your local dealership. Request the updated PCM ECU flash for TSB #: 01-015/19.
  • There will be some minor added engine induction noise due to installing this intake.
  • Replacement Filters: Available Here

I am comparing the stock intake to the CorkSport intake...

Short Ram Air Intake: Very quiet.

When stepping on the gas, I hear a nice growl sound that is not annoying, but good to the ears.

As for power gain, I can definitely feel the additional torque; it's not a crazy improvement, but definitely worth the money.

If you need to start somewhere with a mod to increase performance, check this little baby out.

Awesome part. Wakes the car right up. Better exhaust note throughout the RPM range, slight improvement in power, and less restriction. Couldnt ask for a better intake for the Skyactiv

My car is hitting 2nd gear very hard since i put this on? i put back the stock air box just to be sure. whats up? it pre shifts 2nd at low RPM and need to know if i am missing something?

First engine mod I've ever done, went well easy to install. Very good product. Throttle response much better it sounds sweet and there's a little more pull in the higher rpms. Can't wait to order the exhaust

Zoom Zoom. Installed this on my 2015 Mazda6 i Sport 2.5L in ~15min. Noticed she was a bit peppier and the exhaust tones are noticeably better, but not over done. Well worth the price!

This ram intake is very well worth the money imo. Build quality is Corksport standard. Livens up the up the acceleration response a little bit throughout the RPM range.

Throttle response is much improved compared to stock. It's noticeable. The sound that you get from induction, to the slight exhaust note change, is nice. '

AEM brand also makes a Mazda 6 intake and they claim +7 HP and +8 ft-lbs of torque (over stock) and I would have to agree with that with Corksport it is comparable.

I really like the sound and feel of the car after this installation. It has a nice sounding, agressive growl between 1500-3500 rpm that is not overwhelming or annoying. The breathing and power between 3500-6000 on the highway is great! 1/2 hr to install, and worth the price.

very easy to install and you do NOT need any knowledge at all. the full colored instructions are extremely simple to follow. I love the swooshing sound of air sucking when you tap the gas pedal!!!

Quick and easy install with no CEL. Instantly smoothed out the terrible throttle response these engines have. Also it added a nice sound, not ricey either, and definitely added a bit of power especially at high RPM.

Purchased at the beginning of this week and accidentally gave the wrong shipping address. Customer service was excellent and Brian B. got everything sorted out for me and out the door in the same day! Install was super simple. About 30 min. including set up. I have noticed a bit of a power difference and the car has a more aggressive sound under heavier throttle. I even noticed a slight whistle today when I was out for a drive. So thanks guys! I’m driving around with a big smile on my face(:

My husband picked this up for me for an early Christmas present as my first intake decided to crack after years of use. When I first started to modify my 2015 6, after market parts were basically non existent so I was rocking a 3d printed adapter. When I tell you that this intake makes the biggest difference in sound quality it's no joke. It was super easy to install, and had I had this option available to me 5 years ago when I first started modifying I would of gotten it then. I'm so incredibly happy with this intake that I've started recommending it to all of my friends with Mazdas. 10/10.
