One of the easiest and most beneficial performance enhancements you can do for your vehicle, the CorkSport Mazda3 Power Series Short Ram Intake replaces your factory airbox with an open intake system allowing more air into the intake chamber. Engineered with exacting tolerances, the CorkSport SkyActiv SRI includes our precision machined MAF housing made from billet aluminum, a durable dry flow air filter and custom reinforced silicone connector. In initial testing with the 2.0 Liter SkyActiv engine, the Mazda 3 CorkSport Short Ram Intake netted peak gains of +5 HP and +6 lb torque at the wheels.

*Made for gasoline engines only. Will not work on diesel engines. With the CorkSport Intake installed on the SkyActiv engine, at higher RPM's you may hear a slight ticking from the opening and closing of the injectors. This is completely normal and is what helps increase torque and fuel economy.

If you are having any doubts I’ll make it simple…Get it!!! Super easy to install and the clarity of the instructions made the install even easier and doubt free. I would also recommend purchasing the CS CAI Box as well as it definitely helps keep the intake air temps down.
I’ve had this installed in my 2.0 for a month and it was been great. You can hear noticeable induction noise at around 4.5k rpm and higher, and there was no CEL or any other issues. This was my first time ever working in the engine bay of a car, and it only took an hour with the help of a friend. Definitely a nice little mod to have and I hope to have the 60.5mm catback soon
This air intake is worth every penny. 1 - Throttle response completely changes for the better. A lot more control. 2 - Improved every aspect of acceleration, especially at higher speeds. Really helped with highway merging/passing. 3 - Sounds much more interesting, but isn't loud.
Overall, this completely changed my 3 hatchback. It's not a super powerful engine but this intake really helped to give it a bit more oomph and performance.

I've been running this for about a year or so now definitely one of my favorite upgrades. Love the way it sounds with my Axle back and for me it sounds better than a lot of V6's on the road. Snarly when you want it to be but it can also be pretty mellow when you don't want to hear it.
will it work in a 1.5L Mazda 3 2015?
Perfect and easy to install in minutes! I have now the Cold air intake and box along with my axle back exhaust, all I can say is what a sound this makes! Best pair up and I still love that it doesn't drive you out of the car on long trips. Car feels a bit more responsive and at higher rpm's it feels like it pulls better. Very happy. :-)
Bought it. Installed it 40 minutes. Nobody else can notice the difference but the driver sure can. Great mod and very beneficial for your car. If you have any issues with the MAF it is because you obviously didn't install correctly. I don't and haven't had any issues and I'm an amateur!
