Large Core Intercooler

Add power, performance, and style with the CS Large Core Intercooler! Although top mount intercoolers do the job on mild builds, they can be a little unsightly and easily suffer from heat soak on those hot days when you're looking for performance. Remove it and move the intercooler to the front to best keep those boost temps down! The large core FMIC is a 23"x11"x3" unit with 10mm runners to provide efficient power. Our kit has been tested to work on Speeds over 600WHP without issues. If going for smaller HP numbers or don't want the hassle of cutting off your stock crashbar, our normal FMIC kit is also available HERE.

Fitment Focused

The CorkSport Large Core FMIC kit is a complete kit that fits great and minimizes permanent modifications. Although the crashbar install process requires cutting off the OE crashbar and drilling mounting holes to mount the CS unit, our design makes it as painless as possible, with no need for custom design work, welding, or bending. We've done all of the hard work for you, so you can enjoy the benefits without the headaches! The CS crashbar retains all the OEM features behind the bumper, including but not limited to: tow hook location, fog lights, and OEM hood latch support location.

Crashbar Construction:

All components of the crashbar are made out of 0.188” thick 1020 steel that is laser cut, professionally welded, and powder coated. Each crash bar goes through our QA process to verify high-quality welds, strong powder coat, and accurate dimensions to ensure it will last as long as the rest of your Speed3.

Reinforced Silicone:

Each FMIC kit comes with all the silicone couplers and miscellaneous hoses required for install. Each coupler is designed to boost pressure and produced using multi-layered silicone with nylon reinforcement. This means they can endure high boost pressures and increased temperatures for maximum performance! Customize the look of your kit by choosing red, blue, or black silicone!

Piping & Hardware:

All the piping for the CorkSport FMIC Kit is made from polished, 2.25-inch, mandrel-bent aluminum for the best in appearance and function. Each pipe has a bead rolled end to secure the silicone couplers, which, when combined with the supplied stainless steel T-bolt clamps, ensure no boost leaks or couplers blowing off pipes. Finally, all brackets, mounting hardware, and full-color instructions are included with the kit! NOTE: A short ram intake is required for installation of the CorkSport FMIC piping. Basic CS SRI or CS "stage 2" will need to use the MAF coupler supplied with this kit. All other CS intakes are confirmed to fit; other brand intakes have not been verified.

• Large core FMIC installation without the CS crashbar requires significant modification to the OEM crashbar and/or custom fabrication. We strongly recommend the CS crashbar for simplicity.
• An aftermarket short ram intake is required for installation of the CorkSport FMIC piping. Basic CS SRI or CS "Stage 2" will need to use the MAF coupler supplied with this kit. All other CS intakes are confirmed to fit, other brand intakes have not been verified.
• CorkSport crashbar installation requires cutting and drilling. The end result is a more or less permanent modification. Do not attempt unless you are completely confident in your abilities and are fully committed to using the crash bar.
• Crashbar has not been tested for DOT crash safety and is for off-road use only.
• After installation, a tune is highly recommended to ensure that your engine is running correctly after the FMIC upgrade.
