In one response you say it will fit both and another that it's Gen specific. Is it a universal plate for both Gen 1 and 2 Speed 3's?

I installed this about a week ago. 1st, 3rd, and 5th seem very short... But 2nd 4th and 6th still feel the same... I set it just barely over from full left. Using the OEM counter weight. Any suggestions/advice on how to make all the shifts feel the same? Or is it supposed to be this way?

It took my longert to R/R the airbox than to do the whole

swap. Great shifting now!!

Really quick install (with CS SRI) Maxed out at 40%. Shifting has never felt better! It now shifts like you think it should! Recommend!

Throw is smooth and better than expected, best MOD under 100$

Do your self a favor and get the CAI first for easy access.

This is an amazing mod for less than $100. It takes minimal time, most of it is spent getting the airbox out of the way. Running the full 40% reduction on my 2010 MS3 and it is amazing. Coupled with the CS Shifter Bushings, my shifts are fast and accurate. Amazing products.

Holy sh** i love this....for $70 i couldnt think of an easier way to reduce shift throw....it was simple and it feels great and its amazing how much it reduces the throw...40% makes the shifts basically "click" into gears

Amazing product for an amazing price! Managed to install this Christmas morning on my 2012 speed, before leaving for the family gatherings! Took 10 minutes (having the CS SRI helps tremendously!)maxed out at 40% reduction it feels just like it should quick short and seems to "click" as Jose said right into gear! A must have for someone who loves to DRIVE their speed3!

put this in an it was such an easy install.i set it to the shortest throw possible and it really made the throws really short

Wouldn't have believed it if someone told me this would make such a difference! Took less than 10 minutes to install and at 40% it makes the trans feel brand new and like it never has. Shifts are tight and quick. Highly recommend this. 126k on the trans and it feels new again! No more crunch into second gear now.
