In one response you say it will fit both and another that it's Gen specific. Is it a universal plate for both Gen 1 and 2 Speed 3's?
It fits both.
Is there a difference between the short shift plates for a gen 1 speed3 vs a gen 2 speed3. Or are they universal for the speed3 platiform?
Transmission is essentially the same, aside from some changed gear ratios. So it will work on both generations

No it will not.
If I have a \factory air box will this unit fit? I read instructions on the JBR product and it requires rubber risers on the factory box after installation.

I installed this about a week ago. 1st, 3rd, and 5th seem very short... But 2nd 4th and 6th still feel the same... I set it just barely over from full left. Using the OEM counter weight. Any suggestions/advice on how to make all the shifts feel the same? Or is it supposed to be this way?
