All the piping's mounting locations are located on the engine, allowing the piping to move with the engine reducing the chance for wear and tear.
9-layer (4-layers braided & 5-layers silicone) available in red, black, or blue.
The cold piping routing interferes with the OEM coolant hose so we provide you with a new coolant hose that fits and functions great! Only available in black.
Included with the big core kit, the crashbar utilizes the OEM mounting locations on the chassis and the radiator core support while still providing the OEM tow point hook-up location.
Stainless steel T-bolt clamps with nylock nuts. Available in black zinc or polished.
CNC bent aluminum piping with bead rolled ends for a great fit and less chance to pop a coupler.
Manufactured from mild steel, the brackets are laser cut and bent then powder coated black for long lasting durability.
All the piping is polished so it's ready to install right out of the box.
It will take you Approx. 4-6 Hours to install the CorkSport Front Mount Intercooler with our easy-to-use instructions.

Does the larger intercooler kit and crash bar fit with the OEM bumper?
Yes
As of today will this kit clear a turbosmart dual port bov? the reason of my question is because i see in the reviews back in 2020 a user wasn’t able to clear his same bov.
To our knowledge the TurboSmart BOV should fit, but we can't guarantee it.
What is the shipping weight for the large core with crash bar setup? Also how many boxes does is it ship out as.
Please reach out via sales@corksport.com for shipping details
I want to replace my current air filter, what is the exact size of the air filter on the Ram intake or the part number?
You can call or email us to order a replacement.
Does this fit with bayson R grill ?
We have seen customers run that grill with our FMIC but are not sure if it requires modification to install.
what is the overall lenght of the intercooler with the inlet and outlet pipes
32 inches
Will fitment be an issue w/ the 4" SRI?
Our FMIC is compatible with our 4 inch intake
Will this install with a stock intake?
No, there is no benefit to running a FMIC with the factory intake and they also will not fit together.
Is this available without the core?
At this point in time, no
could i run the large core with a cobb sri, tip, & bpv being my only mods? would i need a tune?
Yes - Any time that upgrade a flow mod, a tune is recommended.
do you guys sell the crashbar and big core separatelly? for future upgrades?
https://corksport.com/fmic-crash-bar-2010-2013.html
Do the intercoolers come with the Corksport logo painted on them?
They are painted on one side. You can flip them around if you choose to not have a logo.
Which is a better fit for stock turbo? Big core or standard FMIC.
It depends on your power goals. The standard core should be fine for more stock turbo builds. If you think you will go with a turbo upgrade in the future get the larger core as it can support more power.
If I buy it with the ram air intake box does it come with the TIP or do I have to buy it separately?
The TIP is included with the ram-air box.
Will this fit a 2006 Mazda 6 MPS?
It will not. we are working on bringing back an update version of our FMIC for the Mazdaspeed 6.
Would you be willing to sell the couplers separately?
We dont normally do that, but if you would like to call in we may be able to get you taken care of.
the small core is a direct fit? it doesn't need the crash bar correct?
Am I going crazy or did the price for this FMIC go up since last month...? I was saving up to buy the large core and now again I don't have enough... I guess its not for me :(
Will this work with the K&N SRI?
Yes it should.
I have the stage 3 cold air intake with the turbo inlet pipe. Is there any special placement for the use with that intake or will it work with out changing anything?
That intake may get into the way of the hotpipe.
Is the big core too much for the stock turbo?
Probably a bit much for the stock turbo.
Is there any minimal requirements for the bigger core?
You will for sure need he aftermarket crashbar.
Can I just buy the clamps from you guys? Just bought your small core fmic and it came with shitty clamps.
We normally don't sell T-Bolt clamps seperately.
Would I need a hpfp to run this
Yes you would.
Can you use the corksport bpv with this set up or do I need a bov?
I would stick with the BPV since the computer measures the air recirculated into the intake. You can run a BOV, but you want to make sure your car doesn't lean out when shifting.
If you select the ram air option does it come with further instructions?
Yes it does!
Will this fit a 2008 Mazda 3 sedan
Unfortunately, this will not fit. This intercooler is specific to the Gen 2 Mazdaspeed 3.
What HP is the smaller core rated to? Thanks!
350 hp.
Does the new setup now fit with the 3" and 3.5" Corksport intakes?
Yes it does.
