Improve horsepower, efficiency, and aesthetics with the CS Front Mount Intercooler Kit! Although top mount intercoolers do an okay job on stock cars and cars with mild upgrades, they can easily suffer from heat soak, especially on warmer days. Move the intercooler down to the front with the CS FMIC kit for improved style and cool temps! The intercooler core dimensions are 23.5x6x3.5” for the max size that will fit without serious modifications. Each intercooler is capped with custom cast end tanks that help distribute the boost air for great heat dissipation for builds up to 400whp. Happy boosting!

Fitment Focused

The CS FMIC kit is designed to fit like an OEM component. It mounts underneath the stock crashbar for an easy installation that adds a bit of performance without removing or modifying the crashbar. The FMIC kit also keeps all the factory front end features of the Mazdaspeed 3 without any changes, including fog lights and inner bumper structure.

Mandrel Bent Piping:

Each FMIC kit comes with a custom piping kit, specifically designed for the GEN1 Mazdaspeed 3. Each pipe is manufactured from 2.25" polished aluminum that is mandrel bent and TIG welded for smooth airflow, long lasting strength, and great fitment on your speed. 2.25" diameter provides optimized spool times, without restriction to flow until you're making some serious power. All pipes are finished off with a rolled bead on each end to prevent couplers blowing off under boost. NOTE: A short ram intake is required for installation of the CorkSport FMIC piping. Basic CS SRI or CS "stage 2" will need to use the MAF coupler supplied with this kit. All other CS intakes are confirmed to fit; other brand intakes have not been verified.

Reinforced Silicone:

The CS FMIC kit comes with reinforced silicone couplers for every joint. The couplers are designed to endure high boost pressures and increased temperatures for consistent and reliable performance. Each coupler is made from multi-layer silicone that is reinforced with multiple layers of nylon. Customize the look for your build by choosing red, blue, or black for your couplers and hoses.

Quality Hardware & Clamps:

Each silicone connection uses supplied stainless steel T-bolt clamps to ensure no boost leaks or couplers blowing off pipes. All required mounting brackets and hardware is included, along with our full color installation instructions to make everything go smoothly!
