The CST5 features a MHI Journal Bearing CHRA, 0.82 Turbine A/R and 4” Anti-Surge Compressor Cover
The CST5 turbo is available in two boost control setups: Internally Wastegated (IWG) & 44mm Externally Wastegated (EWG) w/included EWG elbow pipe & V-band clamp.
Includes a FREE CorkSport 3.5 bar MAP sensor for accurate boost pressure up to 37psi.
The CorkSport CST5 is designed with the ideal balance in response and power for the daily-driven Mazdaspeed 3 or Mazdaspeed 6. Just between the CST4 and CST6, the CST5 can reach ~20psi by 3500-3600rpm and carry power to 7300-7500rpm. Performance is clearly above and beyond the stock K04 turbo.
Ease of installation and use is key to all CorkSport Performance Turbochargers. Perfectly designed to replace the K04 Mazdaspeed turbo, the CST5 retains the factory-style turbine flanges for a painless installation.
The turbine housing is designed with a 0.82 A/R to balance response and top-end power.
4” anti-surge ported compressor housing is utilized for peak performance operation. The anti-surge porting increase the compressor map width paired with an industry standard 4” inlet to maximize the use of 3.5” and 4” intake system.
MHI Journal bearing CHRA housings are used for both the CST4 and CST5 turbochargers for their increased cooling capacity and proven reliability.
High-performance journal bearings and a 360-degree high-performance thrust bearing is used.
Comparing the compressor and turbine wheels, we have a wheel size ratio of 1:15
Utilizing the Gen1 GTX71 billet compressor wheel, the CST5 can efficiently support 56 lbs/min flow rate and boost pressures over 30psi. An improvement over the K04 Mazdaspeed Turbo.
Paired with the compressor wheel is an MHI TF06 high-flow turbine wheel. This wheel uses a 9-blade design, which reduces overall rotating mass and thus improves response and spool.
The Internal Wastegate Actuator uses a larger diaphragm and piston for improved boost control for the larger CST5.
Also included is an assortment of springs so you can specifically set up your CST5 for your Mazdaspeed.
The CST5 comes will all the necessary hardware for installation saves you time and money on gaskets, studs, and the specialty parts.

30-40whp gains over an XS Power V3 and faster spooling. This is the result of a well designed, high flow exhaust manifold. Power over the entire curve results in better drive ability and faster times at the track.
Each component is CAD designed and validated on car for fitment and performance. Three components: the manifold, flange elbow, and dumptube come together to create the most complete exhaust manifold kit available.
The CorkSport exhaust manifold design provides improved airflow from its smooth radius bends. The CS manifold accomplishes this through its tubular design with 1.59-inch diameter runners and smooth bends as opposed to the sharp bends of the OEM and other aftermarket manifolds. This is a superior improvement to the 1.41-inch runners in the XS Power V3. These efficiencies provide a smooth flow of air resulting in improved performance of your Mazdaspeed!
Using a combination of computer-aided flow simulations and flow bench testing, the CorkSport Exhaust Manifold was optimized to enhance peak flow capacity and overall performance. Flow bench testing at 28 inches of H2O demonstrated an average CFM flow improvement of 45% over OEM and 33% over the XS Power V3.
The CorkSport manifold features a shallow 16-degree angle collector with a defined "bullet" point to enhance flow efficiency into the turbine, boosting peak flow and power. With individual runner lengths ranging from 10.50 to 12.40 inches, it improves flow balance while preserving the distinctive Mazdaspeed exhaust note.
With the unique location of the EWG we developed a custom fit 2-piece dumptube that makes installation easy. You can add this optional dumptube and avoid the high cost and time to have a custom dumptube fabricated. Designed to work with most typical downpipe and turbo setups.
With the high heat and pressure demands put on the exhaust manifold; material and strength are critical. The CorkSport manifold is investment cast from 304 stainless steel with 0.50in (13mm) thick flanges and 0.20in (5mm) thick runner walls. This manifold is beefy so it can handle the high power high heat reliably.
The CorkSport block off valve is an ideal solution for eliminating unnecessary EWG ports or Turbo housing opening. Whether you've chosen the IWG or EWG, the plate will close the necessary opening for the best performance for your Mazdaspeed.

The CorkSport EWG Cap will easily block off any unneeded or unused external wastegate port in your manifold or turbine housing. We took all critical design dimensions directly from a Tial MV-R 44mm wastegate so you can be confident you will have a perfect fit with no leaks.
Each CS EWG block off is precision machined from 303 stainless steel for great fitment, corrosion resistance, and strength. Included with every cap is a stainless steel v-band clamp so install is simple and you don’t need to go hunting for the correct clamp!
