Give your 2011+ Mazda2 immediate boosts in horsepower and torque by bringing more air into the intake chamber. Our simple to install SRI is MAF housing precision machined from billet aluminum. Designed to maintain optimal flow and generate ideal performance, Corksport engineers each part with exacting tolerances and uses the latest in computer aided manufacturing techniques to make sure you get the highest quality, best performing part for your money. With the CorkSport Intake System installed the 2011 Mazda 2 showed an increase of 7ft lbs of torque and 5hp at the wheels over the stock intake. Works on manual and automatic transmission models.

The CorkSport Advantage:

  • Prevent air leaks and inaccurate readings that can cause check-engine lights: The MAF sensor is secured to the housing using T304 stainless fasteners for a rock solid connection
  • Durable Dry Flow Air Filter: Reusable and water resistant, this unique non-woven filter media does not require oil to filter and trap dirt and actually sheds dirt under engine vibration unlike cotton-gauze which holds contaminates until you clean the filter
  • Custom reinforced silicone connector constructed with multi-layer nylon braid to provide more strength and power and a smooth internal transition for less turbulence and optimal flow
  • Stainless steel T-bolt clamps ensure an airtight seal which prevents unmetered airflow
  • Corksport Service and Support: Receive full color installation instructions, all of the needed installation hardware, and knowledgeable telephone installation support

Just installed on 2012 Mazda 2, 5 speed, everything went well, except the included vacuum hoses, too small for any hoses connected to the SRI, that said sounds great, fuel economy running close to 40 MPG, very noticeable power increase. Next CORKSPORT 2011+ Mazda 2 Exhaust System. Thanks keep up the great products........
Intake is easy to install, the hard part is the "filter" that keeps hitting the dipstick. How did you manage to put away the dipstick like in the installation pictures? Overall, the SRI gave my car a boost and a deep tone exhaust sound. I can feel the power gain even though it's not much. Also, one thing that i got dissapointed is the "2 pcs 10" silicone tubes", I think (i hope i'm wrong) it's the wrong size, it won't even fit the smaller factory breather. So i resorted in using the factory hoses which are old. But anyways, this SRI is a must for M2 owners.
Installed this on my 2013 M2 (5 speed) about a month ago. Improved performance and responsiveness. I've also measured a 5-10% improvement in fuel economy. On my last road trip, I got just shy of 40 mpg with four passengers, luggage, ac on, snow tires, and driving at 65-70mph. I realize that most folks don't install an sri for better fuel economy, but there's really no reason not to install the Corksport sri.
I am installing this on a 2013 Mazda 3, 1.6L engine, UAE released. Is this the best fit? or can you recommend anything that fits better? if this is best for my car, can I fit a corksport airbox/heat shield of Mazda 3 with this? Please advise... And I am up to a great sporty sound, is this the best option? Thanks!

Quality parts, good instructions. I noticed two things that might make installation easier: 1. You have a lot more room to maneuver if you take the battery out rather than just disconnecting it. You can reinstall it a little farther back, too, to provide more space for cables. 2. If you install the air temp sensor 180 degrees from the way it is on the instruction photos, you can use the stock hoses rather than adding the two new ones supplied with the kit, for a less "busy" installation.
Definitely worth every penny! Noticed a change in throttle response and power. Also gave me a different exhaust note as well when I'm all in.
This is a must have for any 2 owner. One of the first things I bought for my 2!
How much hp does this put out for 1.6L Mazda 3 engine?

CorkSport Reply: The gains for the 1.6 model are 1-2 hp more over the 1.5 from what we have seen from customers dyno information.
Wonderful Intake. Increases sound and there is a power difference you can feel. Only small thing was during installation, the ATF dipstick is in the way and you may need to do a bit of "ghetto-rigging" to get it to move.
This is a MUST HAVE. The 2 is just a few puzzles pieces short of a picture from the factory, and this SRI just makes the little guy an absolute pleasure to drive. Even up hills!

Will this product work on a 2016 SCION iA? It is a re-badged 2016 Mazda 2 with a 1.5l Skyactiv engine.

Would this intake fit the Scion iA? I know that the 2 and iA are almost the same, but are they similar enough that this would fit? Thanks

I have this product, but with a k&n oiled filter not the dry one. Can you tell me what the dry filter is and or the product number? I need to replace mine.
