What's minimum requirements to run stage 1 and also stage 2?
The OTS maps are specific to COBB Tunings parts. I would reach out to them to get a more specific answer on this. We would recommend going through a professional tuner for the best results. FreekTune, PD tuning or Dramatune are all great options
Does it works for a Mazdaspeed3 2010 Mexico version???
The AP should be compatible with all MS3 versions, but for an exact answer we recommend reaching out to COBB.
Would these be able to go on a 2018 Mazda CX-5?
Yes, you can pair an AccessPort to your CX-5.
I made my own intake piping with a cone filter and using the stock mass air flow sensor. I just bought the high flow fuel pump internals and I will be buying the accessport tomorrow. So with those mods on my 06 MS6 will that accessport have a tune to get more hp out of my Speed6?
You are going to need to get a tune for your speed. Nothing off the shelf will have the correct setup for a custom intake.
What is the difference between the COBB tuner and the versatuner? Can you get one or the other or does the COBB do more?
I keep seeing that Corksport has stage 2 tunes for their parts. However, I can't seem to find them anywhere on your page. When I click the link in the AP section, it takes me to Cobbs maps.
Cobb updated their software to the point the tunes we had are no longer able to be used with the newest software.
I have a Mazda speed 3 2011 I was wondering if there's any Maps I can use for corksport parts i have a, turboback exhaust and SRI with TIP, upgraded top mount intercooler, AP, and upgraded high pressure fuel pump internals
For the modifications you we would not recommend running any base or OTS maps, get a tune. PD tuning, Freek Tune, or any of the others out there.
Can you turn off the seatbelt light with this? Can you turn off the check engine light if remove the catalytic converter ?
No and No.
If i install the Accessport V3 in my Mazdaspeed3 2009, What is the increase number of horse power i can get ?
It depends on your tune and the parts you have installed
I have a 2010 ms3 cs catback, cs catted dp, cs hpfp, cs intake with tip, cs tmic and a Cobb ap v2. What map should I be running?
Can i use this in my 08 mazda 3 2.0
The Ecu's are different and it only will work on a Speed platform.
Are there any disadvantages of using your parts with Cobb's maps?
If I have the CS SRI and TIP for the Gen 1 speed, should I be running the Stage 1 or 1+ map?
I have the K&N Typhoon CAI since the last owner put it on. Is there a tune that I would be able to use with that intake?
Just got the AP, but what map will i need for CS SRI only? Custom or off the shelf map? Cobb does not want us to be running Cobb tune with CS parts. Thanks.
I have a 2008 MS3 w/ CS sri, tip, & rmm; and an obx test pipe. Which Cobb ots map would be most suitable? Please enlighten. Thanks.
I would suggest the stage 1. If you don't have fuel pump internals, I would suggest staying away from the stage 1 +.
Does the accessport have to be specific to the speed 6 or will the mazdaspeed 3 accessport work for the speed 6? I have the MS3 gen 1 version wondering if this would work for a mazdaspeed 6, since there is not a specific model selection.
The Accessport is generalized for Mazdaspeed. The one we sell works for all 3.
I have the CS SRI stage II with TIP. If I get this item and set it to Cobb Stage 1, how risky is it, considering the fact that I do not have the high pressure fuel pump internals? Is it a situation of "Well, you should be ok, but that should be your next purchase," or more like "I wouldn't recommend/risk it before getting the FP upgrade?"
You should be fine with just and intake.
I have a 2013 mazdaspeed 3 with a CS Stage 1 package, CS Max Flow Fuel Pump Internals. What would be the best map for these mods and does this map come preloaded on the accessport? Would the map require any custom tuning or would i just plug and play?
You are going to want to use a Cobb stage 1 tune that is preloaded on the AccessPort.
Will the Cobb Tuner tell what your water temperature is. For no mazda in the last 5 years has a Water Temperature Gauge installed. Seems like a brutally insane sin to not have a water temperature gauge on a Turbocharged Mazdaspeed3. thanks
The AccessPort does have a coolant temp reading.
Run this whit european MS3?
Should be able to.
Where do we get the stage 1 maps?
The AccessPort comes with off-the-shelf stage 1-3 maps. We don't offer stage 1 maps for CorkSport parts, only stage 2.
i just installed Acessport v3 into my mazda 3 mps 2006 , the only mod i have is the corksport stage 2 sri intake with turbo inlet pipe. how do i find the maps to tune that into the AP V3 ?
You are going to run a stage 1 tune using the Cobb OTS maps. All of our maps are meant for stage II that includes a downpipe.
Does this monitor oil temperature? 2013 Mazdaspeed3
No it does not!
Is this accesspprt compatible with the 2007 Mazdaspeed3?
Sure is!
2010 ms3 and have a down pipe and race pipe and keep have a down stream o2 sensor slow response change sensor but happen again cause of build up would I be able to command light off for that code with access port?
Yes you can. As long as the car continues to run properly you should be able to hide that CEL with the AccessPort.
I have a 2010 mazdaspeed 3 with a CorkSport Stage II Short Ram Intake, and CorkSport MZR DISI Max Flow Fuel Pump Internals what would be the best map for these mods and does this map come preloaded on the accessport? Would the map require any custom tuning or would i just plug and play?
As of right now we do not currently offer any maps that will work with a stage 1 setup. The AccessPort does come with preloaded maps from COBB, so I would pick a Stage 1 SRI+TIP and whatever the highest octane gas is in your area.
If I have the TIP and stage 1 short ram intake can I run just a stage 1 map?
Yes you can.
does the access port tuner come with the maps already load in it or we have to buy the maps we need after buying it?(sorry for my bad english i'm a french canadian)
Maps are included with the unit as well as being able to download maps from Cobb directly.
Can i safely run a stage 1 tune on a stock car with absolutely no mods? Also, is the mod detectable? Say i had to take the car in for mechanical warranty repairs, if i flash back to the stock ROM, is there any way at all that the dealer would be able to tell its been flashed in the past?
There is a map in the accessport for upgraded power and no modifications to the car. When you first install the unit take the time to download your stock map which can be re-installed later if you need to go in for service.
Does this AP come with preloaded maps from you guys? Or would I have to go onto COBB's website and buy maps for my car?
There are a few pre-loaded maps in the AP when it arrives. You will want to download some others to have more options.
Can this AP be used and be effective on a 2009 mazda 3 sedan with the 2.0L engine and a corksport SRI? I am looking for a tune for my car and cant find one anywhere worth getting. Thank you.
The accessport is only available for the Mazdaspeed models. Try Dynotronics in Texas for a tune.
What maps would i use if I drive a 08 cx7 turbocharged? I see some say speed3 maps, but I also see that it shares the same engine as speed6
We do not provide any maps for the CX7. The Accessport does not work on a CX-7.
Check out Versatuner for your Cx7.
Do you guys know how to get to Cobb's map archives now? Their new website doesn't look like it supports other companies anymore
We are looking as well. Cobb left everyone hanging on this one.
So we just use the best, matched COBB map for our Modifications?
Just got the AP and looking at the maps at the Cobb site(all the CS maps seem to be in archive). I have the stage 2 power intake set that includes the base SRI and a TIP. On the descriptions for the maps it lists TIH(turbo inlet hose) is this that same thing, or do they perform significantly different?
The TIH and TIP are the same, they just are called two different things.
Does adding the CAP negate the need for a separate A/F sensor and gauge or would I still need a wideband sensor?
I assume CAP is meant to stand for Cobb Accessport. Using the Cobb Accessport allows you to tune your engine and make ECU adjustments, it can read any stock sensors in the car but does not replace any sensors. If you want a separate boost gauge, or A/F gauge then you would need to buy that separate but most people are happy to use the stock sensors and the Accessport as the way to read the sensors.
I currently have the Cobb AP version 2. Is there some kind of upgrade credit, like a core charge if I would purchase the V3 and send back the V2? I thought I remembered seeing this some time ago.
We do not do a trade-in credit, but Cobb does if you order directly from them. Otherwise you can typically sell your V2 for about $350 in comparison to trading it in for the $325 credit.
